Man Utd could buy Marchisio
By Football Italia staff

Tuttosport claim Juventus are prepared to sell Claudio Marchisio to Manchester United this summer.

The midfielder has been a target for some time, but until now had been considered an integral part of the club’s plans.

According to Tuttosport, the 27-year-old is no longer considered untouchable and could be sold for the right price.

Manchester United are in pole position for Marchisio, even though Sir Alex Ferguson has now left.

‘Il Principino’ has been at Juventus since childhood, as he grew up through their youth academy.

From a business perspective, it makes perfect sense. The player won't get any better, so we're selling him before his performances fall even further.

You folks need to detach yourself from the whole "Juventino" nonsense because that does not win you Champions Leagues. Quality wins you Champions Leagues. Zidane was sold to fund purchases and so should Marchisio. He's nowhere near Zidane's level in anything.

Now, it would be a horrible business decision to buy Marchisio at 25M, but that's another matter. The beauty of the free market.
