The invisible tag hasn't become redundant to me. I don't care about his reputation in only big matches, that's not what I look at when picking a captain. I want him to lift the team against the small teams and the big teams.

With all due respect to Giorgio, he can barely lead the defence. Even that is too much for him sometimes. Isn't it strange that he performed best next to Legrottaglie / Barzagli? Where he didn't have to lead the defence?
