Pirlo was the great victim of his absence, but so was most of our offensive build up. We had luck Vucinic was able to take Marchisio's job at linking our last sectors, with all the movement and passing lines he provided, in the second half. Not really luck though, but no one was expecting Vucinic to become such an influence after that awful first time of him.
