If he keeps being this crucial I'll have to upgrade my opinion of him.

Top 5 CM in the world (atm) --> Top 5 midfielder in the world --?? -> Top 5 player in the world ;)

why between the excessive exposure to n2o and the references that dont make any sense, you definitely sound like a sensible objective debater.

N.B: lesson #2, that up there is actually 'irony'
yeaaa, y'all were the model of objectivity weren't you.

am completely honest, will praise/criticise when its deserved, unlike the resident vermin that had infested this thread.

has the official Juve youtube page stopped posting highlights?
I don't know :boh: just like Juventus page on FB and every new video is posted there

As for highlight here's an extended version

Someone should make a highlight reel of Marchisio's performance last night. Pulled off some crazy passes, showed amazing control of the ball, and his non-stop sprint from Inter's half all the way back to Juve's toward the end of the game showed why this player is worthy of a starting spot at Juve, and maybe even the captain's armband.

Also, I think he was the player of the season in our first 7th-place season, or should I say he was the only thing that didn't suck about our team that season. But this year he is the best in a group that is actually heading somewhere. He's definitely making the jump from talented youth product to star player this year.

Marchisio: 'It was a penalty'
Sunday 30 October, 2011

Claudio Marchisio maintains he deserved a penalty for Juventus, as “the referee misinterpreted the rules.”

The midfielder appeared to be brought down by Inter goalkeeper Luca Castellazzi, but Nicola Rizzoli waved play on.

“I was focused on shooting, then I spoke to the referee and he told me that I had already released possession. But the rules don’t state that, as if the advantage doesn’t come to anything, then you give the foul.

“Ah well, we won anyway, so let’s just pretend nothing happened...”

Juve earned a 2-1 victory with Marchisio and Mirko Vucinic on target around Douglas Maicon’s temporary equaliser.

“There is certainly enthusiasm for these three points, as it was important to stay top of the table. It’s too early to talk about objectives for the season. Milan are improving and are the favourites for the title, as they are the reigning champions.”

Marchisio is Juve’s joint top scorer on four goals this season, but he had been expected to leave in the summer.

“For the last five years people act as if I’m going to leave, but the club and all the Coaches I’ve had here have given me faith. It’s true that I do better in a three-man midfield, as I can push forward and get closer to the goal.

“It’s great having a former midfielder like Antonio Conte as our Coach, as he gives us great advice.”

The red part is the interesting bit, for those saying it wasn't a penalty.

It really is considering how many penalties have been awarded to players parting with the ball to gain advantage in the area or to pass to a team mate, even if the pass went astray.
