One in the first half.
In the second half, he sat behind a bit for Vidal to go wild in the other half. If the three of them are fit, we have a winning formula. We don't have a like for like replacement for any of them on our bench.
I am glad people are finally realising this team is MUCH more suited for the 433. If, for whatever reason, we need to rest one of the 3 CMs we can switch back to the 424 and we always have Pazienza. The winning formula is the 433 and taking one of them out when in control late in second half for Pazienza to keep them fresher AND use the 424 when giving one a full games rest.

Remember when I said that Conte will change his formation and not stick to 4-4-2? I got pissed on :touched:
And I've been begging for the 433 since preseason. Feels good to be right, doesn't it? :touched:

You will still have people asking for the 424 because "we bought so many wingers"

Its amazing how much we're complaining even if we're top of the table and undefeated.

People must realize that this team needs time and hard work. I love how Conte changes the formations under the match.

Oh, and 4-3-3

Pepe not being "great" ran the fuck out of the left side of Fiorentina all game long. It's incredible how well Licht does when he doesn't have a player like Krasic clogging space in front of him. Pepe opened up space for others (like Licht) to move into. You could see how easily it worked with some of Vidals thru balls in the first half.

That's how you win. Make space for others, do the simple things right, and run your socks off.

The simple things. :touched:

I'd like to add that Licht had more space because pepe would cut into the middle pulling his man opening up space for Licht to make his forward runs (and tracked back to help him recover). Krasic would be glued to the line running straight ahead.

I couldn't agree more. At least Pepe knows how to pass the ball in a counter attack, unlike Milos who gives it away to the opposition. You can like Pepe, or you can dislike Pepe.. But you have to give him a bit credit. He was finished in the end. He is brainless but his heart is outside the shirt.

One card away from suspension? Or am I wrong?

He'll definitely get one against intermerda, so if it's one game away from suspension, he'll be out against Vesuvio.
