He's looked better in a three man midfield.
He's looked better when Juve haven't been outnumbered.

The central players were really up against it against Genoa, as Pirlo and Marchisio were virtually playing against four players in there.

Playing three on three, Juve were able to dominate a very mediocre Fiorentina midfield.

We should use three in the middle against Inter as well.

I rather like 4-3-3 against teams that play three at the back, like Napoli.

The winger are able to exploit the space behind the wingbacks are move CBs into positions they don't want to be it.

Fiorentina played 4-3-3 in the 0-0 draw they had with Napoli and should have won the game.

Cerci caused them so many problems playing in the space between Napoli's left CB and Dossena that Napoli changed to playing 4-4-2 to try to close that space.

That change to playing 4-4-2 upset Napoi's rhythm and caused them to be much less of an attacking threat than normal.

M3h my only concern is that Napoli's midfield will obviously overrun ours. I'd rather be covered..but 4-3-3 would mean we are taking the game to them.

Which also means we've got to be ready for counter attacks, our weakness last year..

It would be a bold move to play 4-3-3.

Why would Napoli's midfield overrun Juve's?

I don't see why Pirlo, Marchisio and Vidal couldn't hold their own against Inler, Dzemaili and Hamsik. They may not dominate like they have in some games, but I wouldn't expect them to be overrun.

Inler/Dzemaili/Hamsik ..that midfield is more physically fit than ours. also it depends who sets the pace, napoli plays real quick, I doubt Juve can keep up. But if Juve come out like they did against fiorentina then it would be a great..but we would have to be warry of the napoli counter attacks :p
