have not, and don't care either...what matters is how he plays for us.

yes he's a good tackler, but to think him and Pilro in a 4-4-2 will work is not feasible.

we didn't lose because of him.

but genoa had too much of the ball and they had tons of space to run around because he wasn't imposing giself on the match.

that was his job as a dm.
No, that wasn't his fault. Genoa had the ball and space because we were out numbered due to the lack of the third midfielder (Vidal) and not because of Marchisio or any other of our players specially.

Oh my fucking god, how is it possible after a game like this (where we was one of our non-bad performers) to come to this thread and bash his performance? Get a fucking grip people. He wasn't impressive (who was, aside Matri?), but he started the game quite well and didn't really do major mistakes like others. He gave the possession away sometimes, just like Pirlo, but he seriously wasn't one of our darker spots today.

It's true that this 4-4-2 doesn't really favours Marchisio, but I just don't see the point of constantly bashing him for any non-great performance like tonight's one.

And he lost the balls very easily on many occasions. Face it, he sucked today. I think he should be benched for the next game.
Missed Vidal today, Genoa MF bullied with physicality. Could've done better.
The thing is that in a 4-4-2 with Pirlo, we undoubtedly need a great physical presence, which Vidal provides and Marchisio does not.

I really like Marchisio in a 4-3-3 but Vidal is better in a 4-4-2.
