That was the very season when I started rating Marchisio for his consistency. The season before he did put in some very good performances, but the 09/10 season also earned him a well deserved NT call up.

I like Marchisio but if Vidal outclasses him Conte shouldn't hesitate at all to bench him or maybe employ a 4-3-3 but I'd be surprised if he do that.

No point in having ability - which Marchisio clearly does - if you aren't going to impose yourself on the game and show that ability.
