He was ineffective when he played CM too.

A whole 3 games as a CM? It's a good thing that the other 10 players in the team were playing so stellar, as it makes it so easy to pin-point Marchsio and his underperforming season.

So far he had two seasons had and he was average and preformed below expected (and actually, many people here said he surely need to step up his game, you're just one of those who thinks he was great. JJ also defend him, but at least he said he should step up a bit and perform better). I sure will give him a credit if he starts shining this season.

He needs to be used properly. That's the bottom line. No player will ever "shine" when they are misused for an entire season and/or surrounding by horrible players that naturally bring the team down.
