"So you've not watched many games of his?"

Suggestive that he's doing this youtube nonsense on a regular basis.

We all know that isn't the case.
Dusan said never. He didn't use words like rarely or such. He said never. Which means, he missed quite a few of Marchisio's games, in which he has shown the ability to beat his opponents.

It's not better, but must agree on disagreeing. This discussion won't go anywhere, critics will say he is invincible and fanboys will say he works hard.
Invincible :D It shouldn't be that way, unfortunately one has to assume this role of 'fanboy' to counter ludicrous claims.

Remember any of these games? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LSCVxzEFoU&t=0m36s
If he does it sometimes that doesn't have to mean he's good at it. (bar primavera and Italy matches). In that video it's mostly about his passes, while content of the video has been the previous 5 years. He's more of a box-to-box player, considering he's everywhere...and nowhere at the same time. I still don't think he's good at beating his opponent. Maybe he is, but he does that in every 10th match.

Good finisher? That's IMO just exaggeration because he played like 100 matches in Serie A and he scored like 10 goals. 4 goals while he was at Empoli in 2007/08 and now in this season. He does not finds himself in a position infront of the goal that often I think. It's like saying Aquilani is a good finisher, while he's not that great really. This is not a bash, because it's not Marchisio's job to nail goals, I just don't see the point of classifying him as a good finisher.

However, I think his technique is very good. He does not lose ball... I've rarely seen him do that at least. IMO that would be his strongest ability he's showing. That and calmness. His passes are good, but then again he prefers the short ones.

That's exactly the frustrating thing about Marchisio. We know he can pull shit of like that, but he doesn't do it as often as I think he should be able to.

Yeah, but who takes these absolute statements at face value? Particularly when the context is a player thread on Juventuz.

It's the same bloody thing as someone saying "Motta doesn't know how to defend" and another person responding, "Oh yeah? I guess you haven't seen many of his games", while linking "Defending 101, Professor Marco Motta" on youtube.

Fine, I've seen him three times a year :sleepy:

Like he did that against Inter. 4 months after that he did nothing.
