if he wanted to pass he would have simply laid it across to Trez for the tap-in.
i don't want to crash the party here, but there was actually some defender running in the space between trez and claudio...
watch 0:33 on the video number 77 would have easily tackled the ball away if claudio would have passed back to him

the positioning of his foot did say to me he tried to cross but it went to far ahead ... just like you see it many times when people cross behind the goal...

Have you ever played the sport? IMO he intended to lob the keeper .

funny question coming from you. i actually still play "the sport", when i got the time for it...
Why is it funny coming from me ? I played in Italy, and in the U.S , I played for the Chicago Magic (3rd best club in the U.S). Now I'm playing on a full-ride in college

because if you actually played football by yourself you'd know that a right-footed player will most of the time not have the technique to perform a lob with his weaker left foot, while it is more common to be at least able to perform a cross with the weaker foot.

a normal lob would actually have aimed straight over the keeper and not nearly past the second post (like a cross).

you perform a lob with the front of your foot by using it like a shovel and not stroke like a cross ... even more so from that position

Marchisio is excellent technically. IF Ahmed can vouch for me, he scored a volley with his weaker foot earlier in the season. I doubt he can't lob a ball with both feet. I.E I'm no pro but I can lob a ball with both feet.

Good, but on the pitch I'd snap your legs, and before you say anything I played for Nottingham Forest until I was 15.
Can you tell me how that experience was? Very eager to hear from someone who played at such a high level :agree: I played on the Chicago Fire academy for one year but that doesn't even come close to Nottingham Forest :turk: Oh and why did you stop?

It was pretty good, I got to play against all the top English teams such as Arsenal ect, done tours to Germany, Norway, Netherlands against the top teams from those countries. My friend is much better than I am and plays for Ireland, a few years ago he went to Croatia to play in the u17 World Cup, he's now 18 and plays for Derby's team and is in the senior squad.
Anyway I got injured badly with back pains then I never got back into it, my heart was never really in it, I wasn't supposed to play football casually but I always did with my friends and for my school I just enjoyed playing more without any worries so I quit. Law and music are my two loves more than anything.

Sorry about that injury. Man you are lucky to have gotten that experience. Did you get worked by Arsenal ? Would you say its more determination or talent?
