Football agent Carlo Pallavicino stated : "I read in the papers that Juventus could sign Juan Manuel Vargas from Fiorentina in exchange for Claudio Marchisio. I think such a swap is impossible because of financial reasons and also due to the fact that Juventus coach Luigi Del Neri wants to keep Marchisio. ....If Juve officials would decide to sell Marchisio, they would negotiate with a bigger club".
BOOOOM!! Viola punched right in the face there

None of the clubs he mentioned would want Del Piero.
Weren't both Inter and AC interested when DP was linked with an exit last summer?

I understand why the EPL clubs wouldn't want him with his somewhat weak physique and injury problems that get worse with age and he wouldn't fit in with the way Madrid or Barcelona play football.

My point is that the clubs that could still use him still wanted him last summer.

They might be linked to him in the media but that means sweet fuck all.

Look, I adore ADP and he has been a fantastic player and a great servant to the club but he's well passed his best before date. If we're relying upon him again this season, we'll fail again and it won't be his fault.

I agree we shouldn't be over reliant on him.

If he is fit to start regularly during the season than he should be played but assuming Del Neri is planning to use a setup with two strikers then DN shouldn't go into this season expecting to rely on DP as one of the starters.

I also don't want Amauri, Iaquinta or Diego to start upfront. :p

If Trezeguet is still here, we obviously can't rely on him to start regularly.
