I think a lot of people like him for his attitude and the way he plays. That's it, he just plays and there's no clowning around with him. He gives his all. He has improved a lot and has been good in the big games. He's asserting himself more, but not enough yet imo. Plus, he's a homegrown player, someone to be proud of.

True, he does give it his best and has been really good in some games, others not so good.

Frustrating thing to it all is that we have another honegrown player in Giovinco who does perform well when given very limited chances, he performs and proves himself. Why cant they give the same faith!

Marchisio: 'No more mistakes'

Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio believes his side is strong and won't make the same mistakes as last year.

The Bianconeri finished seventh in Serie A last season after being tipped for the title at the beginning of the campaign.

“Last season taught me that nothing should be taken for granted,” Marchisio said.

It taught me that even if you are a great team and you are among the top places, you must fight to get there.

“The first part of 2010 wasn't good. We must do everything possible to start again.

“Everyone has the desire to re-make themselves and not repeat the mistakes that we committed last year.

“The squad has changed little and the new players who have arrived have done well for their clubs.

They know how important this club is and how important the season in front of us is.

“We are practically all internationals. The team is strong and we must be conscious of it.”
