We are not Real to buy top players.
We buy good players and make them top (Zizou, Neddy, Canna, Davis etc)
This season we tried to be like Real and failed.
It's time to go back to old Juve.

Agreed. Juventus make players, players don't make Juve. It's easy to forget that after this dreadful season, although it is clear that we need players with both quality and who suit the team, and then we can turn them into household names.

3 defenders of 15mil each and a forward of 25 mil = 70mil
if we sell about 20mil (Camo, Almiron, Criscito, Palla, Zala, Tiago, Treze)
All we need is about 50 mil (more or less what we spent the last years)

But considering the competence of our current managers, on selecting players and acquiring them for reasonable sums, we will need about 2xtimes this sum => 2 seasons
and by the time we will be filling those gaps, some new will start appearing.

We had our chances to create a competitive team and we wasted them,
now we will have to think of a compromise, its realistic to aim somewhere the old Roma used to be (# 3-5)

As for Marchisio, he is going to be an essential part of project and hopefully the reason we are not going to invest more on our midfield any time soon, esp if we keep him and 3 more starter valued players

I think we should play 4-2-3-1 next season. Get rid of 1 of Poulsen/Marchisio/Sissoko/Melo. Then we can play Gio/Diego + some new RW behind a striker (hopefully a new one too but could be one of our current ones too). Camo as a backup. The defense line is what needs the most changes.
