For some reason I can't help but think that Marchisio could be a star at RB. Didn't Zambrotta start out as a midfielder too?

Marchisio doesn't have the strength to play in the midfield. He's a bit brittle and picks up knocks easily. Plus, in open space he is our best tackler, better than Chiellini. He would do well on an island at RB.

His vision & reading of the game is one of his stronger points. Something that would almost completely disappear if he was forced to play RB.

Plus, Sissoko is an even better tackler in open space, but I definitely wouldn't want him to play as a fullback.

He was truly horrible when we tried a 4-2-3-1 with him on the left.

For Azzurri he's great on the left midfield though.

Sissoko's tackling and stamina is miles ahead of Marchisio.

Marchisio has the qualities of the perfect midfielder. He can definitely become as good if not better than De Rossi. I think with the right coach he can become one of the world's best midfielders.

I think Sissoko is pretty useless when he have possession of the ball. Marchisio is much more complete. He can be both defensive and offensive and he is much more intelligent than Momo. I'm do like Sissoko but his passing is just awful.
