Yes brilliant strategy to shore up the MF by replacing him with a right back.
He wasn't playing well, and Chievo were creating plenty of chances when he was on the park.

Can't say that we were noticably worse when he went off.

Like I said, I usually defend Marchisio but he was poor yesterday.

Chievo was creating plenty of chances? How many saves did Buffon make last night?
Just because Buffon didn't make the save doesn't mean that they aren't a chance.

They were plenty of occassions, especially in the first half were Chievo nearly got on the end of through passes/crosses. In particular Buffon made a good save and another one he coame out quickly to stop Thereaux. Again Thereaux had a first time shot in the first half which went over from inside the box.

At no point were we in control yesterday, with or without Marchisio playing.

But hopefully he was just tired and will be back to his usual self against Bologna.

What is that exactly? The first few games at the start of this season or the rest of his football career in Serie A?

But the MF was being blown apart by donkeys in F16s, how come it didn't stop when he was taken off.
Because we were equally poor when he was off.

At what point did I say his replacements were better?

He was poor, Juve were poor, nothing changed when he came off.

yes let drop pirlo too since he got owned by bradley yesterday
when will you guys learn he is a dm and his job is to protect the defends from counter attacks as first. If he can go forward it is great but he doesn't get that change anymore lately.

He's playing a restricted CM role, I'm not even expecting anything from Marchisio whilst he is there. We should be going back to our real 4-3-3 against Bologna, I expect all will play better.
