Secco has made a big mistake...CMF is looking very thin now...Marchi should have been in the rotation for this year and C-Ra knows how to use his whole squad over a whole season...Serie A experience is 1 thing but a Juventus Serie A experience is totally different...u play under much more pressure and the squad has a winning mentality and of course more determined opposition as well

you need to remember that we wont be playing in europe this season, there is only Serie A and Coppa Italia. Sure there will be injuries and suspensions, but we cant have an overly packed squad, because that could lead to players becoming unhappy, and the youngsters not developing as quickly as they could by loaning them out. This is a great move by the board, by sending Marchisio to Empoli, we will see if he is good enough to play in Serie A yet, or if he will just prove to be a flop, or someone who has so much promise but doesnt live up to it. Only time will tell.

:disagree:  Everything is a "great move" according to you.

How many times have these loan deals worked out in the past, at least in the past decade? How many times have our loaned players came back to play a pivotal role for Juve? That's right, NONE.

I don't understand why Arsenal can keep the likes of Gilberto, Fabregas, Flamini, Diaby, Rosicky and Song while we can't even keep one of our most coveted young players. You see, Arsenal is intelligent with their youth and it shows. They don't loan out their young stars who have futures with the club. Wenger didn't loan out Fabregas, Flamini, Diaby or players such as Eboue or Walcott. You know why? Because he's no fucking idiot. If you send players on loan they are out of your control... you're essentially handing over your thoroughbread racehorse to a lesser trainer and lesser training facility, which no horse owner would ever be idiotic enough to do. We have loaned out players such as Chiellini, Miccoli, Brighi, Paolucci, Maresca, Gasbarroni etc etc etc and the only player to have come back is Chiellini and he even has some psychological issues.

I hate seeing our promising players being handed over to other clubs for them to fuck up and disregard. It's a totally disgusting practice by big clubs such as Juventus and it's one of the things I abhor about this club. So now Marchisio will be out of our sights and who knows how much Empoli and Cagni will fuck him up.

This practice of loaning out players is imbecilic and simply doesn't work. Thanks for your work in Serie B, Marchisio. Have a good career.

i dont believe this move is right .. coz we already released tacci and soon will sell gianni.. i believe we should have kept Marchisio and gave him a chance ..
he will develope more and do his best to play if he were with us ..

am not against loaning yound players to other clubs but am against loaning Marchisio at this time ..

then what do you propose we do with our young players? keep em so they can spend a season on the bench if theyre lucky? selling players like nocerino, giovinco, or marchisio is stupid yet they arent juve ready yet and a season on loan in the serie A will do them good

Loans have their pros and their cons. Unfortunately with Juve the cons traditionally outweight the pros. Hopefully this one will be an exception.

Here's what you do... you sell off proven worthless players such as Blasi and Giannichedda and rotate your youngsters into the squad. You see, that's what intelligent clubs do. Arsenal, Manchester United, Barcelona. These clubs rarely send their starlets on loan because they want to nurture the players that are considered THEIR OWN instead of sending them away to a place where they have inferior coaches and might not even play sometimes. Playing time is not always the most important thing here.

I can just see it now... Marchisio starts a few matches with his team of inferior players to Juventus, doesn't fit in well, and we judge him on that and he loses all his talent because he becomes discouraged with management that doesn't give a FUCK about him. Unfortunately, that's what I see happening here and to others we loan out. We're Juventus, we ruin young starlets. Everyone knows it.

we are Juvenuts, we create talents. but i admit we dont use our youngsters properly. You have a point Andy i dont totally disagree with you there, but as delpiero06 stated, keeping these young talents on the bench is a waste. In this case, i think that next year Marchisio will be back to take the place of Zanetti. Our midfield is shaping up very nicely and has many years left in it.

Marchisio won't always be on the bench. Ranieri always rotates his players during the season and everybody forgets that training with players of this calibre is important as well. That's another reason why Wenger doesn't ship youngsters off on loan as he feels that he would rather have them under his control, training regiments and training against the likes of Gilberto, Henry and Toure instead of Emerton, Savage and Ooijer.

you have a point, well like Stu said loans have their pros and cons, lets just hope this loan deal turns out for the better.
Well, we shall see. But as a player myself I would sure hate to be loaned out, especially if I worked my way through the youth system and helped guide my side to various championships. It's just nonsensical in my opinion and heartless, careless and as many adjectives I can throw at this typical nouvo riche big football club bullshit.

I'm against loaning our young player too , but when it gets to comparing Arsenal to Juventus you have to have in mind that they are competing in 5 competitions through the year , we on other hand only in 2.

I think they'd keep them even if they would only be playing in two competitions. And what is the 5th competition?
