He had some good games this season. If he come back after this summer 100% fit should take Khedira place. Actually I dont have problem playing with Khedira but Marchisio is Marchisio again completely recovered.

Yeah he had some good games but some poor ones aswell. I dont have a problem with Sami either but Marchisio is the far superior player.

He has been poor in finals. 2003 he could get near a ball during the penalty shoout out but he did pull off one amazing save during the game iirc. The goals in this seasons final were a bit soft.

What a shame that it firstly took Claudio so find his best position and secondly that injuries and various tactical changes have left him as a player who we will remember having great seasons but not being an all-time great.

The romantic in me is drawn both to his backstory and also to what could have been and the story of how it never came to be.
