Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio missed training with a thigh injury, and will be assessed later today.
The Bianconeri have suffered a number of pre-season setbacks, with Sami Khedira, Alvaro Morata and Giorgio Chiellini also sidelined.
Chiellini returned to the group for today’s session, but now Marchisio could be a doubt for Sunday’s Serie A curtain-raiser against Udinese, as Calciomercato reports the Italian international missed the session with an injury.
The thigh injury is not thought to be serious, but could still see the midfielder ruled out of Sunday’s match, with a scan later today to determine whether he can play.
