ok let me rephrase that :sergio:

short first team career
I understood you m8, just kidding. I respect your opinion, Ofcourse Buffon should be captain before Marchisio, Marchisios time will come.

But if the choice is Chiellini or Marchisio, then it´s Marchisio for me without doubt. Back to the Criscito case, "the infidel" so people here would accept Chiellini who behaved 10x times worse in Viola then Criscito did, as our captain? people forgot I guess.... always want a guy to hate.

To be said about myself, I have nothing against Chiellini Love him despite his time in Viola, and would love to have Criscito back to ..

Any coach would choose Gigi, and Gigi it will be, its obvious. I can see Claudio going ahead of Giorgio but NEVER Gigi, I dont see why Del Neri would either.

I'm happy with any of the above, all of them bring different qualities and would be a great leader for Juve.

Im just worried about the future of Chiellini and Buffon when it seemed in the past that they were ahead of Marchisio in the line to be captain. Especially Buffon who I thought had it written in his contract that he would take over from Ale.

But I suppose Del Neri is entitled to change that and Marchisio has really developed, and will make a great leader.

I understad your point, a luxery problem IMO:lol:

Despite being really bad the last season and we have much work to do, if we want to challenge for the scudetto. But we have players with heart like Marchisio,Buffon,Chiellini.. I feel warm in my heart that we even could have this converstion...

not many clubs have so many captain material like we do.

Juventus is always Juventus (L)

Lippi is testing Marchisio in a trequartista role, mainly because of his good off the ball movement (according to Lippi's words). This is somewhat in the line of how Marchisio developed this season, as the season progressed Marchisio dared to be more adventurous and grew into a more offensive role.

More a Perrotta role then trequartista, even if its holding similar space. But yeah, dont see how this will fit him (depends on expectation and task), even if its better if he gets involved more higher up the field, tends to dissapear a bit when too deep.

Seriously? He's great at running into spaces, which is what Lippi wants him to do.

I mean besides the bit of running into spaces. Offensive duties require more then that. Bit of Perrotta role as I said, but would need to contribute in other ways then that alone too.

Yes, but I don't think Lippi's asking more than that. Which would make sense given the creativity next to him. Well.. I mean.. what passes for creativity in Italy these days. And to be honest I think Marchisio's Italy's only hope anyway.

As my brother pointed out to me though, they might get lucky and have a very easy road to the semi-final.

Might be worth a bet.

Iaquinta-Marchisio-Di Natale
Gilardino

That's a 4-3-3 with Marchisio, an energetic and technical midfielder, given the role of pushing play forward. Camoranesi would be extremely useful in that as well.
