Can't see that Allegri would bench him for Pirlo. Especially since he prefers defensively sound mids. Great game by him yet again, CDM is the right position for Marchisio.

I can't see Allegri leaving Pirlo on the bench actually. It's easier to do it for Marchisio also because he can fill in for the other midfielders and will have a lot of opportunities to play.
