Funny thing is they bought him for more than his release clause which had expired something like 10 days before the window ended.His release clause is somewhere around 22m.Man U bought him for like close to 30m in pounds on the last day of the window.

We can't get disqualified for that. Anyways we need 4 homegrown players and we can always find those among our youngsters if the case is that they must be registered, which I doubt, but good offer for Marchisio will hardly come around again. But hey what am I saying, no one offered anything and in all likelihood no one will, at least not what we would have asked for him. And yes he's useful squad player, not denying that.
