What price would be considered as a 'stratospheric offer' for him by the board ?
Just a wild guess ?
30 mils is more than inflated enough to warrant instant sale.

Think about it. With that money, we can seal the top striker deal, and buy a quality left back in one go.
We will lose our cutie face poster boy from the youth ranks, and it will make some big load of fans protest in rage... but the sporting gains will more than overshadow the sour flavor of his departure.

We have Pogba, padoin, giacherini, Asamoah, even Pepe and Marrone. Just throw anyone there at vidal´s side and it will work.

I personally think we should be looking to sell one of vuc or gio if we are sacrifising someone cos if we are looking to buy another SS ,neither esp. Gio wud want to be a 3rd choice SS imo.

Thats another option... but those 2 seem to stay.

Marotta seems to be wanting to sign a striker and then sell one of them. But he doesnt have the money to sign the striker in first place so we are stuck,

That's a shame.

Actually Cheesio is nowhere near as important as Chiello or Buffon for this squad. You take either one of Chiello or Gigi out and that squad won't exactly be the same. As for Claudio there will be no void left if he leaves and on top of that we can make a huge lump of cash (which is way more than he is actually worth).

Let's be straight, people don't love him for his skills or what he contributes to the team. They/We love him because he's a youth product, been around for years and he has been pampered, management tried to make him the new poster boy. He is a good player, above average that doesn't warrant a 35mil Euro price tag and if someone values him at that, sell his ass and add Giovinco as a complimentary gift.
Reading comprehension warya, no where did I say he is as important, didn't even touch that subject, I said most likely to retire in this shirt with Giorgio, there is a difference. He is MORE then good enough remain in Juve, and you are god damn right he partly is loved because he is a youth product, true Juventino who gives his all for the shirt, not something to take lightly (need more of this, players who is attached to the colours more then it being their job) .

But most importantly, since being a fan/being at the club since he could walk isn't enough, he will remain for long time BECAUSE he is a very good player.

Man honestly, it's all emotional bs. If the likes of Trezeguet, Camoranesi and even Del Piero who have sacrificed a significant part of the career in a sub par Juve out of love have been thrown out. What warrants Marchisio to retire here out of love? Specially when there are potentially ridiculous offers for him.
I've never denied the fact that he is a good player, but he is not a 30-35million euro player and if an offer comes, then we must part ways.

A team like ours need 4 quality CM's apart from Pirlo.
Pogba i feel has a bit of that mercenary character in him,i mean for all we know he cud leave anytime hence a loyal player like claudio staying here is vital.
Loyalty is priceless.

but we will not win cups with loyalty alone. If he is ready to accept the bench from Pogba then fine. But we cannot stall Pogba´s developemtn because of Marchisio.

Marchisio is good enough, he is above average... but his inconsistency really KILLS any good argument you can bring to the table.

And any offer above 20 mils i think should be considered.

Same way that if an offer for 20mil comes in for Vuc, you don't ask question you sell. You are getting much much more than he is actually worth.

But 20 is pretty low for Cheesio, might be his actual worth...but it's not worth it for us, it would be better to keep him. Only if an obscene offer at like 30-40mil comes in you sell.

Whoever performs gets the nod.Its that simple.
If Marchisio performs poorly,Pogba will replace him but atm he is slightly ahead of pogs.
Healthy competition is necessary and im sure Claudio wouldnt mind that.

You guys are creating issues where there is non, he is a very good and based on this overdone criticism underrated CM, if he is not performing he gets sidelined like anyone would, it's simple (if it was 4-4-2 days ok, but he has been excellent for most of last 2 years) .

No one will be offering crazy figured like 35m plus and such, and he is not worth considering selling for 20m or such since its pointless to sell an asset we don't gain much to offload(truthfully, what are you gonna do with that money? When it weakens our best part of our team) , no need to consider selling, it's a very good luxury problem to have one too many excellent midfielders. A strengtht in quality that is main reason for two league titles.
