Been to Daniil Trifonov concert on Friday. His virtuosity is insane and his interpretations of the pieces were beautiful, not that I'm much of an expert but a piece played by ten different piano players will sound in 10 different ways. And what a unique technique he is applying that I have never seen before. Got tickets for Mitsuko Uchida in January. I kinda grew up with this music because of my mom who has a degree in piano and had been practicing like 8 hours a day

sounds pretty cool

it was today. She performed some Mozart sonata and Schumann (Kreisleriana and Fantasie in C) and I swear she mozartized that Kreisleriana so hard it was unique to listen to. I could see her face and as well as her hands playing the instrument and you could tell the old lady enjoyed every minute of her concert. And I did as well
