IMO, we played a good game in the second half. I heard people say that it could have been 5-2 because they had some clear chances but I think that their eyes filtered the chances we had, Zlatan (3) Vieira, Trez etc. So, I could have been 5-4.

The less said about the first half the better, it was a nightmare and I was thankful to be only 1 goal down.

The start of the second signaled a vast improvement, Juve were much more aggressive in midfield. The real transformation took place when Del Piero entered the field. At last we were actually passing the ball better and the eqauliser was a good move involving Del Piero and Vieira, who pass found Nedved's brilliantly timed run into the penalty box, where his finish was that of a top class forward.

The second was scrappy and slightly fortunate, Trez's header was somewhat weak, the the keeper just stood and watched it go in. I was in joy, having watched a pitiful 1st half performance to then watch the team turn it around a lead with the end of the game in sight.

The German team though, had other ideas and battered us like they did in the first half, aggresion and pace causing panic in our defenders - two crosses not dealt with - Breman now had the lead and hled on for a deserved victory in truth.

Just want to make a few notes, positive mixed with the negative:

- First half was awful.

- The right side was nonexistant, Blasi just couldn't keep possesion. Camo had no space and was helpless, it might've been due his bad form or no support. Or maybe both. This did not change when we brought on Zalayeta.

- Blasi doesn't know what to do with the ball

- Despite conceding 3, Buffon was one of our best men.

- Cannavaro really had an off-day

- Nedved worked very very hard, but attackingwise didn't know what to do on the flank. He doesn't have the speed anymore to beat his marker. His passing range is useless down the flank. Nedved has the finishing of a topclass striker though, he should play closer to goal, where he can use his passing and shooting. At least Nedved could hold his own on the left though, unlike Camo, who dissapointed me.

- We really only needed two half chances to overturn the 1-0 to a 1-2 lead. Bremen's defence is shit. Had we attacked a bit more, we could've crushed Bremen. Missed opportunity yesterday really, we could've gone to Turin with a big aggregate lead. Now we're behind.

- Vieira looks to be getting into shape.

- Playing defensively, and still conceding 3. That's a tactic gone wrong. On the other hand it looked to be working on the '85th minute with the 1-2 score.

- We started this game out too arrogantly. Instead of grabbing the game by it's throat, we let it all happen. We played with the mindset, of ' oh everything will be fine'.

- Was Mutu injured? Why bring on Zalayeta on the right flank, when you have Mutu to play there?

- Zambrotta we need you back, on the right side ironically.

well today we all can realize that juve won't win CL ,we ain't lucky and we sure do not have a good defence,I mean, come on,3 goals :frown:
so,I can't imagine a reason ,why in god's name crapello keep's this Ibra in our first team, okay I undersatnd that del piero is no fizic match to him,and can't play for 90,we all know that but what the f is wrong with mutu,he runs,si scores he defends better then ibra at least ,WHY???:faq1:
and what is with the strategy?crapello did'nt know that bremen have the best attack in CL,do something about it,he always plays with same lads and same schemes,is serie a this works perfect but can't he learn from past, last year's match with pool, now this again F.A.C.K
I don't wont another title , I WANT TO SEE THE CL CUP IN TORINO!!!!!

crap,crap ,crap:(

Instead of looking for negative things about the game, consider this, Juve have 2 away goals & the players are human, mistakes happen.

Just remember CL is 10% hard work & 90% luck, after all Juve are the Old Lady;)

what a crap we did yesterday..
the match went on exactly the way I thought it would be. we have very big problems if a team is playing fast. we are not defending well at all.
here are my positive and negative notices after this match:

+ Buffon is back, he is great and he is back at the right time.
+ we scored 2 goals and this could help us for the return match if Mr. Capello do not play the same tactics like last year against Liverpool.

- you can forget about the CL title this season (I would be happy if I am wrong). with such performence it is imposible to win the CL. we played against bremen and they created so many chances. what would be the case if we play against Barca, Bayern etc..
- When will capello finaly understand that DP should start in these important matches?

I really wonder what tactic Cap will use for the return. One thing I've definately realised is that no matter how good the defensive capabilities of a team - it can never prevent being scored by VERY attacking teams - such that of Bremen and Barca.
I expect a formation like the one against Bayern or Real in Turin i.e some sort of trident.
I just somehow have faith in Cap though, despite all the demonizing from Juve fans

You guys are laughable. Werder is weak in away games and we scored 2 away goals. A 1-0 is enough and that is what will happen. we weren't very lucky today and have to get better on set-pieces, but you are talking like, okay, we are out and can forget the CL-Title. Thats not the famous Juve spirit I see here.

well, despite the bad preformance, we still have a fairly good chance to advance, but what will happen if we get the likes of lyon, arsenal and barcelona in the next draw, we will get hammered 3-0

no we are not out, and we may beat Bremen, but what then? if we suffer against bremen like yesterday, what will happen if we play against stronger teams?
