He was Juve's best player, the only decent player. Imo Balazaretti was the worst player on the pitch. He seems to be doing a fairly well while going forward, but his defending is pure rubbish. He has no sense of awareness at the back.

From the moment I look at the formation shown on TV, I already know that we lost. Why? Becos in my memory, Capello always defend, and Bremen is an exciting team which plays attacking football. I remember that Capello said that he wants the team to go an all out attack formation. But in the end, still but to the usual stuff. This Bremen team is the same team last year with the exception of Frings, and yet they can still win. Man Lyon can even kill them with an aggregate of 10 - 3. Look at facts! This states the Bremen's defence is really weak!

Capello has been outcoahced again I have to say. Bremen is just having so much fun in the pitch and running here and there, making passes and such. And DP and Mutu r still on the bench. These 2 men will defiintely make a lot of difference to the lacklusture Bremen defence and they will be killed throughout the 90 minutes. And what does Capello do? "Let's be patient, we have 90 minutes to score, Bremen will be tired." MAN! Bremen has been attacking all night like no tomorrow. And they will attack no matter what. Isn't that Bremen's weakness all the time? And instead of attacking their weakness, we let Bremen expose us.

We have more players at our disposal compared to Bremen. Bremen always use the same formation, while we can have lots of different formations. However all these r restricted by Capello, who only believes in the good old starting 11. I don't know how DP and Mutu will think of u. If u continue to be patient, Bremen will treat Delle Alpi as their playground for sure. Man I wish that Zambrotta and Kovac were to play today, at least these 2 men have the experience to grab a victory for us, since the former performs better and the latter has tons of experience in dealing Bremen. Kovac should be used as a RB instead of Blasi

If we were to fact Lyon, we will be killed. Juninho will score 1 of his trademark free kicks and Carew will be able to make fun of Zlatan

one of the weird games I watched this season.when we were up to 2-1 I was thinking that we were already in the next round, then 2-2 I said it's still nice result, but how the fuck it ended 3-2?? I don't know who's fault was the last 2 goals?Buffon's? defense? Capello's? If he went defending after the 2-1 I am sure everyone would insult his mother for that. I am still confident that Werder will be knocked out in Torino, our players were unbelievable to miss those chances, Zlatan's and Vieira's 1 on 1 was really pathetic..

First half was a disaster,I blame Capello for that. But at the second half the begining we started to conrol the match,and Zlatan finally started to do "something" along with some mistakes too,but why would you sub him for fuck sake?? I know he was very bad at the first half, but improved at the begining of the second, he could play along with DP and Trezeguet .. they were weak defending from the air,we could use Zlatan for that

did nice saves,but also he is recieving a lot of goals, he isn't the only one to blame, but he sure has a role to concede some of the goals in the recent matches..

Balzaretti 5
played the worst match of the season, does this guy knows how to jump?

Blasi 5.5
also did some errors but was a little better than Balzaretti.

Cannavaro 6
he could do something better than to assist the 1st goal of the match to the opponet.

Thuram 6.5
he was the best defender last night.

Camoranesi 6
he should have more time, it wasn't his fault if Capello wanted to play counter atack in the first half.

Nedved 6
He could do what Zlatan and Vieira couldn't do, scoring on a 1 on 1 situation, he should been replaced later by mutu, we could end up with 10 men because of his usual violent beahviours.

Vieira 6
half point less than 6.5 for missing that goal, other than that his performance was good.

missed a lot of chances 1 on 1 and the bad "assists" that we could score for that by them in, he was better in the second half, fighting to get the ball, am not satisfied by his performance last night, but IMO he should't be subed,he was improving. and the haters STFU, it is fun to blame the whole shit on him huh? he started to improve the recent matches, Messina,Inter remember?

Trezeguet 6.5
scored the goal (thou it was GK's and Defender's faults) and he could pass the ball to Nedved instead of shooting from a bad position, it could be a great chance to score,but he already apologized for that. overall he did what he had to do.

DP 6.5
he had a role in the 1st goal, and was also had minor role for the second (if I am not mixing the goals' order), I wish if Zlatan played next to him too,they would do better againsta weak defence like that..

Capello 4 for the first half and 6 for the second. 5 overall.
IMO he shouldn't play like cowards in the 1st half (counteratacks like serie B team) he could start the way he did in the second half. And he should kick the habbit of subbing Camoranesi in everymatch.

Conclusion: the match could end up 1-0, which is score I hate it.now we can play for a win without worrying for away goals thing. 1-0, 2-1 is all good for us..and I am confident we can make it..

Man the finishing still leaves a lot to be desired. Now I fully understand what vonam tried to convey the last time. Anyway I think that Trez, DP and Zlatan have to be played at the same time. This is definitely their chance to wreck havoc to Bremen.

And I don't think it would be 1 - 0 in Delle Alpi, it would be heaps of goals flying around.

to be honest when you see bremens goals...you know we were unlucky..especailly the first goal which seemed like a ''pinball'' game....

anywayz...i know its frustrating to concede 2 goals in the last 7 minutes of the match when we really had the game...Emerson forgot his defensive duties and that what caused bremen to outnumber us and put pressure...we completly lost the midflield battle...but the important thing is we have 2 away goals..which hopfully will make use of them when we face them in the delli apli.....

2-1 or 3-1 for us, that's what I predict, hopefully Zambrotta and Zebina will start we really need them we can't play with Balzaretti and blasi together against an offensive team like Bremen.

It's practically the exact same situation as last season, and with Capello's comments after the match I'm not sure what to believe here. A team of this calibre could theoretically beat Bremen without a coach, however these similarities are not very good to see. Capello is not the person to blame. Yes, the first half he played very defensive but the second one was different. it is not fair to blame him all for this result,which I think it is not as bad as you guys think..

the last minute goals were defenders and Buffon's (he could collect/kick with his hand the ball since it was in the smal box) fault. and the 1 on 1 chances missed by Zlatan and Vieira..

how could Capello be the only responsible for this?

I don't think another Liverpool situation, their defense is a joke and they are the one should be worried about the result not us, 3-2 win in home is one of the worst score for an away game.

It's the 2nd time in about 2 weeks Cap f's-up by taking out a midfielder and putting Zalayeta when we all know this guy can't cut it anymore since the missed pk vs Australia. I'm not sure if we were up or tied but bring at MAX an attacking midfielder for Camoranesi, not Zalayeta and play him on the wing. That's a pee-wee call man.

im with snoop on this one.capello gets the blame way too often.he gives out the instructions,he puts the tactics forward,but if the players on the pitch dont deliver and if they lose concentration in the last few minutes of the game then the blame lies with them and not capello.he can control them from outside the pitch,the mistakes made by the players on the pitch is not his fault.they were defensive errors,and the defence should be blamed,not capello.

im not a fan of capello,but making him the scapegoat everytime is unfair.the players make the game,not the manager.you cant blame a bad performance by the players on the manager.yes,u can question his tactics,but u cant go on rounding off on him when the defence makes errors or when the players lose concentration.he can only do so much from the touchline,the rest depends on the players.

managers get unjustified criticism a lot of times which shouldnt happen imo.
