I still can't believe we won after watching both matches. How exactly did Licht pump us up so much and Asa find his old self?
How did Spurs not score more goals in that first half?
Because their chances, while decent-good, were not those types y'all obsess over where the player is favoured to score. Over the two legs they had very few of those favoured-to-score type chances. Far less than we did.

We put in a pretty horrific 150 minutes of play. But 10 minutes to start the first match, and 20 minutes to finish this one. We had the most clearcut chances and luckily enough we took them.

I would say Kane's header in the first leg was clear cut, his rounding Buffon in the first 20 mins of this leg, and his header (offside) at the end were clear chances. Son also had like a handful of chances, though luckily he's a rubbish finisher, even his goal was an accident. They had us at 6s and 7s in many instances over the 2 legs.

Then other side of the coin is: 1 Higuain's missed chance first leg for 3-0. His missed penalty for 3-1, this games Dybala half-open-goal Volley, and this game's clear as daylight penalty which the ref turned a blind eye to.

I wouldn't call the offside header a chance. Should have been whistled dead. Mandzukic also had a free header in the first leg with the whole net to aim at.

Regardless, it was pretty terrible on a technical level from us. Higuain and our CBs were beasts though, and spared us blushed.

Because of our defensive pussy mentality. Invidual performances is always decisive for Juventus.
Except in the next two rounds against Barcelona and Monaco, two of the best attacking teams in Europe last year, we dominated them, creating countless clearcut chances and winning those ties easily, 3-0 and 4-1 on aggregate.

It seems to me that Allegri's teams find form very late in the season most years. As in, February-March onwards.

By ze by, I love that great members like @Drizzy and @Big Bang, after months of absence while we are winning, decided to grace the forum with their presence today during halftime when we looked to be going out, so they could shit talk Juventus some more.

We proceed to win, and not a peep from either of them to celebrate the victory, to show happiness over winning, nothing.

Mods should infract or ban those who only show up during or after losses to troll and shit talk this club, regardless of whether they pretend to be fans or not.

While I don't see eye-to-eye with Vialli or Hist, amongst others, at least they are here during both good times and bad, voicing their opinions, taking lumps, giving lumps, and what not.

The Juventus loss opportunists are just pathetic.

all that energy conserved
:lol2:

Annoying part about that is we still ran out of energy by the end of the season last year at the worst time possible. :(

and

@Bianconero81

Last year Bianconero81, Vialli92, and others were bitching in the Autumn about how there was next to no possibility we'd get past CL Rof16
