Just for you guys

Sampaoli: The referee was right to send me off, because I was protesting,” said Sampaoli.

“It was a painful night, because we took the lead and thought we were going to qualify this evening. Unfortunately because of the incidents, we couldn’t hope for that tonight.

“My team put in so much effort and worked so hard, but came away with nothing. It was difficult to tell we were down to 10 men, as we barely allowed any chances until the final minutes.

“It’s just a pity we couldn’t make more of our own opportunities. I think we lost this game unfairly."

Nico Pareja: "We lost against a strong opponent, but they were also fortunate in the incidents,” Pareja told Spanish reporters.

“The Vazquez red card was exaggerated, because he didn’t deserve a second yellow. The referee wiped out our work with two decisions that channelled the match in a certain direction.

“The penalty seemed very dubious to me, because I was marking Patrice Evra, not Bonucci, but frankly the shirt tug did not seem excessive."

Vitolo: We had taken the lead and were playing really well against the Italian team, but the referee sunk us with two absurd decisions,” Vitolo told BeIn Sports.

“The second yellow card for Franco Vazquez was absolutely ridiculous and giving a penalty right before half-time for a foul that wasn’t so bad really took the wind out of us.

“It’s a shame to lose like this, because without those incidents we certainly would’ve seen a different game. The referee changed it.”

:)
A foul that wasn't so bad? How idiotic is such a phrase? A foul it's a foul and if it's in the box is a penalty. As Juve have learnt over the years in CL...

I like him alot, but missing both Higuain and Dybala is a massive issue in terms of how this team works.

We are lacking central creativity and connection. Without Dybala, Higuain and Pjaca, you have only Mandzukic, supported by midfielders.

if we for example had Dybala with Mandzukic, man that would be extreme. Higuain, Morata, Pjaca. They all did very well with Mandzukic. But him alone without a creative player is making it hard.

We should be extremely happy that we got Cuadrado. He unbalances defences with his relentless mazing runs and actions, and because of that, we create gabs. So by doing that he actually becomes creative despite having a very poor vision for passing

i'm sure @Osman can explain that better. But Cuadrado is goddamn vital for us right now. Thank fuck we brought him back.

For the vast majority of the match, we looked like the team that didn't deserve to win. Even when Sevilla went down to 10 men they looked dominant in possession. Now their goal was definitely lucky but when you look at our goals scored you'd have to draw the same conclusion.

A penalty that was almost saved and probably should have been saved. Bonucci's deflected goal that took a lucky deflection, and a Mandzukic goal in the final moments when Sevilla had already given up being down 2 to 1.

Our attack looked completely lifeless and devoid of ideas, our Midfield could not place a pass or create anything in terms of attacking, Pjanic looked clueless when it came to passing as well as orchestrating our Midfield, and our bench options didn't look very promising.
In regards to pjanic, for the most part what max is requiring from him is plain stupid..why the f would you play sandro up top and pjanic in CM? If sandro had to play it would have to be in pjanic place and pjanic should have started behind cuadrado and mandz at the one spot 4312 shape with ZERO duties other than go forward..in addition to playing him in a ineffective position, now sandro has the duty of covering for pjanic so he can create play? Completely asinine the guy has no freedom..the setup was laughable good on us the opponents were even dumber. This time.

Still i think no need to rush Higuain, Dybala, and Pjaca against Genoa, maybe Max will try 4-3-3 again.
Agreed about Cuadadro, i think both Mandzukic and Cuadadro're should not be benched because of their form lately.

Oh but offcourse. We are 8? points ahead ? Our season starts in march, then we need to be fit and ready. Its silly to sacrifice in serie a at the moment.

i'll take a draw against genoa

What a massive goal by Bonbon because we were hopeless against 10 men Sevilla until then.
we were better than them even before the red card.we played in their home with new formation 3 injored attackers and 3 injured defenders is way to much for any team. By the way they didn't play football more was a war than a match.

Yes we have injuries, yes it was a difficult match but this is Juventus not Persepolis. A team of this calibre should already be used to playing different formations and styles because of this very reason to be able to deal with injuries let alone give opponents something different to worry about but even without injuries we are a one trick pony..with injuries he is improvising for it rather than having had prepared for it.
Had it not been for the red we would have lost, more than likely.
