DP started out really well with some neat touches but that's it he then vanished completely. He didn't help the team by holding on to the ball when in attack like Zlatan did. He lost the ball every time he touched it. He was practically useless and he knew that from the look on his face when he was going out.

It's true that Zlatan exagerated in the end with the dribblings etc but at least throughout the match he was the only forward who tried to score and assist others to score.

I think Camoranesi was our best player of the night.
I agree, but IMO Camoranesi is underused for us. IMO we should use him as a playmaker, IMO he would make a real impact there, behind the trikers.

Exactly. Zlatan tries, but fails. We've had enough of Zlatan's failure this season. He should stop trying things he's doomed to fail at. He simply can't dribble past 7 Real Madrid defenders, so he shouldn't try. DP was utter shit as well.

Not a great performance at all especially in the second half were most of our players were like half wits out there.
Well typical Italian mentality of wanting to lose 1-0 and getting them to our place for the kill. Wouldn't it be ironic if we lost 1-0 at home with all our results in the league stage

A lot of players annoyed me out there, most of all Emerson who always seemed to do everything wrong imo, like getting in his own players way when they are in better positions, to wrong passes almots all the time

Zebina, I have continued to say it like Materrazzi is a complete liability and should have cauysed us a penalty with needless holdings

Blasi , what a complete egghead, he had a very good game and by myreckoning alongside Thuram, Juve's best player but he is just too stupid for words with his needless fouls and the one that brought him a yellow card was the stuff of idiots.

Camoranesi was back to his worst with a quite horrible display, giving the ball away in dangerous areas

Whats so annoying is that we allowed a very average player like Raul Bravo to shine

Buffon, a couple of decent saves but nothing to earth shattering, lucky that Ronaldo was completely useless and Raul does not have his goal scoring touch 6

Zebina, he is not my type of footballer and gives away too many free kicks and will cause ous heart ache in the end someday 4

Cannavaro was good but maybe at fault with the goal 6

Thuram was very good 7

Emerson was very average and the Madrid supporters on this display woud rather have Gravesen who was so much better 5

Blasi was the only midfielder showing any purpose, pity he has no skills to speak of but he battled very well until his hair brained idea to lunge into Raul who was going nowhere and would now miss the second leg 6.5

Camoranesi was bad 4.5

Dp was okay in the first half but of no use in the second 5.5

Zlatan , its always the same with him, you have the good, the bad and the ugly 5.5

Nedved no marks as he was not on there long enuff

Zambrotta was okay 6

Zidane whom I thought was on the wane just ran the show along with Figo as we allowed Madrid time and time again to ipen us up on our right hand side, it was embarassing to think we actually have a manager who could nothing about it

It's only natural that we blast players who played bad and cheer players who played good

Exactly Libero. These numbers can be deceiving. Remember we are at the Stadio Delle Alpi.
This Real looks more cynical though, more able to speculate on a 1-0 advantage. I could see them score a goal in Turin and not concede more than 2. And Juve needs to learn how to bite.

Exactly. We need to get Camoranesi more involved and move him to a spot where he does not have to worry about back-tracking.

This is an interesting idea, never thought of it actually...might work actually as he has the vision and the flair and his passing is much better than his crosses

Zlatan is over-rated
Of course he is. But when you see just how high everyone rates him, he's still one hell of a player even though he's overrated. Still, dare I admit it, I haven't seen too many good things from Zlatan this season. I'm sure he did do a lot of things right, but I'm not impressed.

Denco are you serious saying that Camoranesi and Emerson were shit? They were good tonight and combined very well. All our chances started from their feet.

There is one thing that IMO Camoranesi is the best in the world at: Chesting down the ball. He's fvckng brilliant there, I dont think there's a player in the world who can do it better.
