Well with the change of formation 4-3-1-2, I feel a little better about our odds. And I feel rather confident with Marchisio being placed behind the strikers, he'll offer extra support in the midfield along with Tevez, and he would have a lot more opportunities to run in the final third and get a better pass from Llorente, rather than Asamaoh passing him the ball sideways.

People don't want a change of formation but it's not like 352 worked well for us lately. Ancelotti has more than enough to set up his team against our 352. The flaws of it are known to everybody now. He can take an example from many teams including Bayern.

If anything I see this change as something positive because we could make it harder for Ancelotti to figure out our new game plan. Conte always says that it's not easy to encounter a side that just changed their coach. The more question marks we leave for Ancelotti the better for us. 352 leaves no questions for a coach of his class.

Simple. Just sit our wingbacks a little deeper than usual and study the first 45. Then when your balls feel like growing try to give it a go. Then by the end of the 90, just sit there and say. "Well what the fuck was all that about!!?"

Exactly not to mention he was the one that molded our very engine, Pirlo.

Linup looks good except Chiellini cant really take on players or cross very well. This would be better.

Asamoah-Chiellini-Barzagli-Carceres
I agree that the formation could hinder Chiellini, he looked fine in the 4-3-3 because he overlapped, would need someone to have a complete set of skills to be effective.

I think he's surprisingly quite good at crossing though, for someone that might struggle to pass straight when pressured. :D

Am I the only one who want a win in Madrid and wouldnt be happy with any other outcome? (Yeah I know they are favorites but they are beatable and we are not that bad ourselves when concentrated)

Given our current form, yes u are asking too much.
