Draw would be perfect and more than we can hope for atm. But who knows, maybe some of our players start performing and surprise us. It could be a turning point for Juventus.

- - - Updated - - -

Manninger; Melberg, Giorgio, Legro, Molinaro; Marchionni, Tiago, Momo, Nedved; Del Piero, Amauri.

We won vs Real in Madrid with this team back in 2008.
We had Del Piero in sensational form who scored 3 out of 4 our goals.

Usually when two big clubs like Juve and Madrid play one another, the circumstances change. Form becomes irrelevant, egos clash and you have something to prove. Hunger is the key for Wednesday, so far we never seemed like we wanted it, but man I hope Conte starves the team for this match.

As for how we should field the team, Conte knows best (except if he play hacks like Isla, Motta, etc), but in my humble opinion I think Llorente must play and the midfielders should run their balls off.

If you want to cling to some hope, a few years ago Aberdeen lost 5-1 against Celtic at the weekend before drawing 2-2 with Bayern in Europe in midweek, and being somewhat unfortunate not to win the game.

Weird stuff can happen to teams/players when they are thrown into a huge game.

Just have to hope the weird stuff is positive...

Ugh, of course when I actually want you guys to win, you're in bad form. Hopefully it's true about everything going out the window for this one.

I really think Llorente should start since he has experience playing against Madrid.

And that might be 3-6-1.
That would be my guess.

I was expecting Tevez-Giovinco against Fiorentina because I thought that if Juve played two up against Real Madrid, it would be Tevez-Llorente.

With Llorente having played against Fiorentina, I'm now very much anticipating it being 3-6-1, assuming Vidal is fit.

If everyone is still hurt and Caceres is fit:

Buffon
Caceres-Barzagli-Chiellini-Ogbonna
Pirlo
Marchisio-Asamoah
Pogba
Tevez-Llorente

or:

Buffon
Caceres-Barzagli-Chiellini-Ogbonna
Pogba
Marchisio-Asamoah
Tevez-------------------Giovinco
Llorente

Tell the midgets to run their lungs out. Pray for a draw in both cases.

If Vidal is fit:

Caceres-Barzagli-Chiellini-Ogbonna
Pogba
Vidal--------------Asamoah
Marchisio
Tevez------------Llorente

Our strongest, most athletic outfit to muscle a draw.

3-6-1 is the most obvious formation, there is no need to guess what will be fielded.

Juventus squad for Real Madrid: Buffon, Chiellini, Caceres, Ogbonna , Pogba,Marchisio, Tevez, De Ceglie, Giovinco, Peluso, Llorente, Barzagli, Bonucci, Padoin, Pirlo, Asamoah, Vidal, Storari, Isla, Rubinho

    Line up for me:

    Buffon
    Caceres Barzagli Chiellini Ogbonna
    Pogba------ Pirlo Vidal ------Giovinco
    Tevez
    Llorente

I'd probably put Pogba back because he can use his physicality to his advantage then.
The thing is Marchisio was very ineffective as AM last year both for Juve and Italy. He would have more room for his runs if he plays little deeper. On the other hand Pogba with his better dribbling and shot might be the better one to occupy that spot.
