Up to a point. I am proud of the team, surely. But I am bitter about the way things have been allowed to go on for years. It's the same thing as the FIFA. We needed the friggin' FBI to intervene.

Let’s be clear here, however. The rest of Italy has to be laughing its ass off over juventini griping that referee bias and bad calls are holding Juve back.

Such mixed emotions right now.

I never let myself believe too much; I was expecting the disappointment. But still sucks that this is the way we had to go out.

But the team showed a lot more spirit than I thought we had, especially after the first leg.

Now I just want the season to end and fuck the world cup. We need to get back to this stage again in a hurry and try again

Yup. I'm a little embarrassed at our reactions, even if we have a right to be upset

Wait we have a double to take, not as prestigious as CL but nevertheless still important.

This is not about us. It happens to other teams too. And then there's the ridiculousness of the ffp. Real and Barcelona can do whatever they want. So can English teams.

But Milan overspend and it's a scandal? Fuck that.

So you know his rationale, and it makes perdect sense imo
I certainly know and it makes perfect sense but he could've put on a player for the final minute just to waste time. This subbed in player will get into the ET fresh and ready. I thought the pace of the game at that point is what prevented him from doing just that. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't do a similar thing in the future. You constantly gain experience and it will only make Allegri invincible.

Buffon: 'Ref heartless'
Football Italia

Juventus captain Gigi Buffon continued his furious attack on referee Michael Oliver. “You’d have to be an animal to do that, have a trash can in place of a heart.”

The Bianconeri had wiped out a 3-0 first leg defeat at home, leading 3-0 at the Bernabeu and 30 seconds away from forcing the Champions League quarter-final into extra time when a penalty was awarded for a Medhi Benatia nudge on Real Madrid man Lucas Vazquez.

Buffon was sent off for dissent in what is probably his final Champions League appearance and Cristiano Ronaldo converted the penalty.

“I leave here with a memorable match, seeing 18 warriors with the desire to sweat buckets and put in a stratospheric performance,” a visibly agitated Buffon told Sky Sport Italia.

“Only Juve players can do that. I am pleased that we leave with our heads held high and won back some pride for Italian football. I also compliment Roma for their achievements, as I was moved by their comeback to knock out Barcelona and hope they go all the way to win the trophy.

“Tomorrow I will be cheering on Lazio in the Europa League quarter-final, as we must show signs of Italian football coming back.”

What did Buffon say to the referee in order to get a straight red card?

“Nothing strange. The referee lost the plot, I accept that. I won’t accept that a referee is in charge of a game like this with two such high-profile teams and doesn’t have the character, courage or ability to make calm decisions.

“He was clearly unprepared. Giving a penalty like that, after a memorable match, sending off someone who has never been red carded for dissent in his life in my final game is simply not acceptable.

“If you do that, then you are an animal, you have a trash can in place of a heart. We did something epic this evening and the performance was heroic.

“I have unbridled pride at being captain of these lads.”

Chiellini: 'First Bayern, now Juve...'
Football Italia

Giorgio Chiellini said it “shouldn’t be surprising” Real Madrid beat Juventus with a soft penalty, because “Bayern Munich went through it last year.”

The Bianconeri had turned around a 3-0 first leg defeat by leading at the Bernabeu, but 30 seconds away from extra time in the Champions League quarter-final, Real were awarded a penalty.

Replays show Medhi Benatia got the ball and Lucas Vazquez went down very easily.

“It shouldn’t be surprising, Bayern Munich went through it last year and this was Juve’s turn,” Chiellini told Mediaset Premium.

The defender also could face a fine or even suspension after making the ‘money’ gesture at Raphael Varane and asking if he had “paid” for the ref.

“Between the first leg and this one, just about everything happened. It’s laughable that the Italian refereeing designator said things are going well in the Champions League.

“Nobody thought we could turn it around, but we believed and it’ll help us for the next Champions League campaigns. It’ll be an objective for the future.”

Juventus President Andrea Agnelli demanded VAR technology in the tournament, but Chiellini thinks the situation is beyond that.

“It wasn’t an issue of VAR, because the referee still needs to have courage and a conscience. The referee must try to be less of a protagonist and give only clear-cut decisions.

“You could tell at the time it wasn’t a penalty, but seeing the footage back it’s just laughable. We must remember that we beat Real Madrid 3-0 on their own turf and only a crazy person would’ve believed that going in.

“We could’ve scored five or six goals tonight, so we ought to be proud. We want to win the seventh Scudetto.”
