Unfortunately we got a young guy tonight. In the Group stages this is a penalty 10/10, but a more experienced referee would not have called it tonight, even if he thought it's a penalty. This kid was looking for trouble and will get trouble, especially with Buffon's red. Italians will never let him officiate their games.
He will also realise he's got no class whatsoever. And he's about to get murdered on social media.

Ignoring the ref`s call that ruined the game - Why couldnt we play like this in the 1st leg - We wouldnt be losing 3-0 and we would be going through right now..

penalty or not that was the risk we were taking by playing for ET with 30 mins left. shit can happen when the opposition attacks more and none of this is on our players who played brilliantly but simply ran out of steam . we just needed fresh legs to either kill it in the 90 or at least hold more of the ball and put the pressure on Madrid instead of the other way round. both teams just needed one goal to go through. you can disagree all you want, we all want to win the trophy and that lesson vs Bayern 2 years ago is still imprinted in memory.
Playing for ET was the right thing to do, and we were 30 seconds away from it. Don't forget that we were the team who had scored THREE goals in this game, Real had failed to score even once. If anything, based on the events of the game itself we would have had a better chance of scoring the finishing (because it would have ifnished the game) goal in the extra time.

Yes we were, the whole Real Madrid team was in the final third. Maybe you could've made ONE sub in final minutes to slow down the game?

I don't like these "Disgrace" and "Ref decided the game" comments. But I can understand the frustration from the team after such an incredible effort.
Really? A ref that allowed madrid to dive all game didn't decide the tie when we lost one of our best players just for that. Also you have no right to both cheer for the effort and criticize the tactics behind that effort, choose one.

I think we witnessed the birth of a new bonafide European rivalry now.

Juventus vs Real Madrid will never be the same.

Every time we meet in the future it will be a blood bath.

Buffon to Bein Arabia: “The referee? When you are the referee of a big game like this you have to show your character or you can stay at home.”

    - - - Updated - - -

Buffon: “It’s probably my last game in the CL. I’m very happy because it’s the first time i don’t concede a goal at the Bernabeu.”

I disagree. The Real fans showed us their support. They applauded Buffon who was sent off, while the penalty still had to be taken.

Remember, it's not Real stealing. It's UEFA.

When you have arrogant tools like Ronaldo smirking it looks entirely different on the pitch. I guess I see it differently. Regardless of the fans, our club won't want to be humiliated again.

We don't have any bad blood against Madrid. Even Carvajal and Mario shook hands well at the end of the match. Zidane did not celebrate like a retard, he just stood there solemnly. Even loud mouth Perez has nice things to say every time he talks about us.

The best part is Buffon saying Oliver has got no personality. That's going to haunt him for the rest of his life.
