It's 50/50 and I think it depends a lot on the ref. Yes Benatia made contact, but Vazquez was REALLY looking for it. Not sure you can give that penalty in that situation. Could you imagine a World Cup, or CL final being decided on a call like that? Questionable to say the least.

We played very well for 92 minutes. Battered them in Madrid, perfect gameplan. My only complaint is that Max didn't use at least one of those 2 subs in normal time. You could see a lot of the players heavily tiring, Higuain looked to have picked up a knock, Mario was dying. Why not bring in Cuads to inject some pace, and take some time off the clock. But hindsight is 20/20. I'm proud the team showed heart, and balls. Real shame how everything ended.

On mediaset they showed clearly Medhi touching the ball and the ball changing direction with is touch and the push in the back was more hand On back to stop running into him

Neither Juve nor football deserves this. I am so proud of this team I can't even describe that in words.

Feeling incredibly devastated to see us go out this unfair way .

And that's the ref's job. If he sees a push or that Benatia "tackles thru" the Real player, it's a penalty. It's just so fucking 50/50.
The ref needs to be absolutely sure if he alters the game. No way that is a clear penalty. Im actually fairly sure its not a penalty at all - the contact which tips Vasquez over is the same moment Benatia gets to the ball.

At some point serious criminal investigations have to follow. FIFA did this for years. UEFA are just as bad. And I'm not joking. I'm serious. This is a world in which millions of euros change hands every single day. Fraud in sports is still just fraud.
