What are you on about, lighting a fire? We had them at 3-0 at the bernabeu and the ref killed us.

We lost the first game because of a red card that had no connection to reality.

I dont get you.

I consider myself pretty good at looking at calls with neutral glasses. But this penalty I can't decide on; it could be called and it couldn't.

This is one of these situations that aren't clear enough and it's all on the ref. VAR wouldn't have changed anything. Putting myself in Real's shoes, I would have been pissed had that call not been a penalty for Juve.

(In the broader picture I think Real got most 50/50 calls in these two games, and that pisses me off)

I am really proud of our display tonight, and not disappointed in any foul or mistake that has been made by our team.
Yes, we should have gone through, however we could already see it coming. 90 minutes of Madrid tears and not once did the ref told them to stop throwing themselves at the ground or asking for cards.
It is a pity that for some reason we are not allowed to win the CL again, but we showed tonight that we can beat anyone even if all odds are against us. No one believed we could score 3 goals in Bernabeu and this team of millionaires needed the ref to get to the semi’s. We are more than the moral winners here.

Elkjær got it right. The ref decided it was a penal.

The ref's angle is behind Benatia so he assumes there's way more contact than there actually is.

If he's looking from the side he can see Vasquez is already going down and Benatia doesn't actually push him with his arms, it's more regular body contact.

5th official does nothing as always. Best seats in the house.

Wow I was doubting it but FFS that's not a pen. Mother$#@! ref

That still is very misleading. At that point Vasquez had cheated the ball and it is travelling away from him, benatia did not make contact with the ball with his foot.

But what you can see from this photo is that Vasquez is already falling over, despite the slightest of contact (push for faggots) from Benatia.

It’s not a pen in any way but this still is very misleading

AFAIK the pk was given for a push/leg-to-back tackle, not for this kick.

Just seen it, thing is I don't know what Vazquez was trying to do? Was he attempting to control it or chest it or even dive header it. It's pretty soft considering it's the last call of the match. I'm still convinced motherfucker ref cost is. Ironically at the time I was thinking otherwise but player getting the ball makes the biggest difference and Vazquez went down too soft. That said I understand why people think it was a pen because shit like that can be given sometimes.

Like my dad says. You need to be blind in order to be considered for that job.

the Bein expert Ref here is a fucking Real fan.
he said "see.. the leg of Mahdi touched Vaz. hands which made him lose balance"
other analyst is saying no..
Even Zidane Was doubtfull over that penalti....
Latín American experts..only the obvious madridistas say that Was penalti....
Dybalas and casemiros in the first leg where more penalti
