What if we try new setup, play absolutely swashbuckling football, come back from 0-3 down, humiliate best club team in the world and it's because Dybala is suspended so there's no pressure to play formation catered to fitting him in some position he isn't even good at :snoop:

I would like this line up...

Buffon

De Sciglio, Benatia, Chiellini, Asamoah

Khedira, Pjanic, Matuidi

Cuadrado, Mandzukic, D. Costa

If no injury happens...the changes in second half I would made are...
Out: Khedira / In: Marchisio
Out: mandzukic / in: Higuaín
If Cuadrado looks much tired... I take out Cuadrado for mandzukic.
And make d. Costa play in right side, and mandzukic in left (as usual).

4-3-3 is a UCL line up with more success.

The 3rd change could be Lichtsteiner for De Sciglio.

No place for Alex Sandro who's doing very bad lately.

2 man midfield again against RM :howler:
People need to stop saying this. Just sheer numbers don't help you. Bentancur-Khedira functioned better than any 3 man midfield last game. It's about defending as a team and staying compact and shifting play quickly. Pjanić-Khedira was great in the final in the first half. You can put 4-5 midfielders and if they're not playing the right way RM is going to run circles around them. With 3 midfielders you also take away one more offensive player higher up the pitch which allows RM to press you up higher.

Well we got crushed by RM the last two times when we had a 2 man mid and last time we used a 3 man mid we eliminated them to make it to the CL final.

But hey, for sake of fearing change and starring down the abyss of the unknown let’s just keep the 2 man... :baus:

3 averages midfielders is better than 2. RM run rampant right down our middle.

We can’t depend on Khedira and Pjanic do attack and defend...our 2 slowest mids lol
