The exposure that we get from the semi finals is huge. We will be the only match on that night and the whole world will be watching.

Reaching the semi final of the CL is a way bigger achievement than winning Serie A and the club should do everything they can to try and reach the semi final as much as possible.
Unless we go full retard and lose 4-0.

The performance despite being bad is nearly irrelevant in view of the great achievement.. and NOW this team has a real shot to shock the world. I'd love to see that :)

I'm already hearing this being called "a very successful Juventus campaign in Europe".

When was the last time you heard that phrase?

no way. we faced 2 of the best CL teams past 2 seasons in athletico and real and we held our own. and we were more than a match for chelsea who was champion.

the bayen game was bad, but they were in amazing forum, and we had conte for a coach and a forward line of matri and vucinic + 3-5-2.

It's funny because when you compare keepers, defenders and midfielders of all the teams remaining, we have possibly the best collection of individual talent. :shifty:

The attack is where we are lacking but that's why counter attacking was inventing.

What midfield is better than a rested and in form Marchisio - Vidal - Pogba - Perereyra?

What CB is playing better than Bonucci?

Morata and Tevez have everything to hold their own against the best, I rate them one of the best striker duo right now.

Evra has been performing well, Buffon is as composed as any keeper.

We just need Litch and Chiellini to peform calmly and at an acceptable level, to have Pogba back, put on a 4 men defense and leave Pirlo as an option for the 2nd half.. and BANG. We can play with the big boys.

Ya but the league is sealed now. There should be no reason not to be at 100% (not including Pogba).

Who knows what could happen to Madrid and Barca in these weeks. Madrid and Bayern have huge injuries right now.

I am so pissed of that almost all media called us,before the draw "the outsiders" from other 3 teams.Fuckin media rats.Okay I agree that other teams played well and have maybe some extraordinary individuals but to value like that the best Italian team and a winner of zillion trophies and titles is just low and unprofessional. When you are among the 4 best teams you cant's value that team as a outsider .Simple as that.

:agree:

This team has been underrated, while in fact reaching semis shouldn't come as a surprise, considering the quality we possess in every area of the pitch. That said I hope we avoid Bayern, prolly the most complete unit atm, while we can play against the other two, on par.

Also Neymar-Suarez-Messi & Ronaldo-Benzema-Bale/James are miles ahead of our attack.
thats only because of Messi/Ronaldo. i actually rate Bayerns attack better overall than these two

Vidal was also suspended for 2nd leg iirc. Buffon also made a very uncharacteristic mistake
yeah. Asamoah was in bad form since Africa cup and Conte played Peluso in the first game. Vucinic recovered from an injury or illness shortly before the game so he didnt play, Gio was also not 100% fit (that was our starting duo that season). in the first game Vidal and Licht got yellows and got suspended for the return leg

Does anyone remember the first half vs. Bayern in Turin? When Conte told them to press Bayern, Bayern was exposed, and Schweini was taken out of the game for 45 minutes. That was with Vidal out. The 2 goals came because the team pushed so far forward and left spaces behind.

Imagine if they had taken a more aggressive approach ever since the first leg.

remember that FK from Pirlo? imagine if that went in :tuttosport:

about the 1st game, the early deflection goal kinda changed our approach i think. then Kroos got injured and they put in Robben which helped them a lot, as Robben went into beast mode ever since that moment. the offside goal from Muller finished us then
