Personally I like to be happy after advancing but after games like this the only feeling I feel is relieve.

Still a huge success. Everyone would sell their kidney for this before the season started.

We had 5 defenders on tonight and Evra was the best of the bunch.

nope it wasn't, the mental block was certainly there, that and pirlo that prevent us from playing quick short counter.

need flair and fancy, need a player or two who can beat defenders so that we can stamp authority when attacking or countering not bullied into submission.
    But did we die ?

When a team attacks it takes the pressure off the defence and gives us some breathing space. It was constant Monaco pressure all it takes is one mistake at the back or from the ref to give Monaco the lead.
But did we make a mistake and die ?

Man, I cried. I think the last I felt this happy was when we won our first scudetto with Conte 3 years ago.

I don't fucking care about the performance right now, but I felt like I was gonna die in the first half.

We need Pogba back for the Semi's and hopefully we'll get Real.

That's bs. We were saved because of individual players, cause as a team, we were absolutely horrible.
Give me a break. We clearly came into this match looking to make Monaco create goals with possession. Our midfield sat too far back to provide support for our forwards as they obviously were instructed to defend first and foremost, hence the reason Morata and Tevez were stranded up front all match.

If you or anyone thinks we'll employ this tactic against any of the remaining teams that's ridiculous.
