Nerve wrecking! We made it!!! Absolutly unbelivable. It was like we where only waiting for the monaco goal, and than we would proceed with our gameplan. Very strange and some horrible performances out there. Monaco deservedly went out, bc they couldnt even score against this poor juve

It's hard to watch these matches because of course we want to see us creating opportunities. Watching us defend amazingly, but biting our nails that some lucky break doesn't happen for Monaco makes one crazy anxious!

Of course, Max got his tactics perfect because he clearly knew Monaco can't create through possession and attacking, they need to utilize pace on counters to score, and we entirely eliminated that. Still, it's scary to watch.

But +1 bro. This is exactly it. They hardly had a clearcut chance in 180+ minutes.
I agree but i think he could have allowed the team to be a bit more attacking tonight. It was constant Monaco pressure as we were allowing them to attack which is always dangerous.

Against Dortmund it was a lot more controlled and we played a lot better while defending deep.

Why the shitfuck should we give monaco the chance to use their lethal counters ?

congrats to everyone.

however this was a very bad performance. only reason we are in semi is because of buffon. it's unacceptable for a team of 8 best in europe to not be able to string 3 passes together or lose the ball 11 times in space of 15 minutes in dangerous places.

That's bs. We were saved because of individual players, cause as a team, we were absolutely horrible.

But did we deserve to go trough after not getting a single goalworthy chance against us in 180 minutes ?

Was our passing and chance creating good enough ?
nope it wasn't, the mental block was certainly there, that and pirlo that prevent us from playing quick short counter.

need flair and fancy, need a player or two who can beat defenders so that we can stamp authority when attacking or countering not bullied into submission.

When a team attacks it takes the pressure off the defence and gives us some breathing space. It was constant Monaco pressure all it takes is one mistake at the back or from the ref to give Monaco the lead.

Agreed. It's just the Pogba injury and Pirlo and Barza's return in great form really made it difficult for him to choose 4-3-1-2 for this match.

Chiello should be benched for Semi first leg, as should Pirlo if Pogba is fit.

Buffon
Lichtsteiner-Barza-Bonucci-Evra
Vidal-Marchisio-Pogba
Pereyra
Morata-Tevez

Anything else would be ridiculous IMO
