we were ok in the second half though didn't you think? Bossed the game at times and looked the more likely to score. I'm just worried that the likes of Blasi and Zebina are clearly not consistently on the right level for a team that has aspirations of champions league glory.

allright! this is ok.. we havent playd for about 17 days, and in the first half we suckd, but we showed the real juve in the second half and we will have a serie a match before the sec, leg in turin.. so..

They played well in the 1st half and they seized their chances. They played with pace and it was something we coulnd't handle.

...next time you make a prediction, make it 2-3 goals. That way, we have a bigger margin.

30 minutes of adrenaline by Liverpool - unlucky that Zebina picked up Hyppia for the first goal, he can't mark for sh!t. Luis Garcia isn't going to score another like that for quite some years..Buffon would've palmed away if he was an inch further back..very, very fortunate but yes their tactics of using speed worked to some extent, however both goals came from questionable scenarios.
Typical second half, we could've won this game 3-2 if Capello (and our players mindset on the whole) was a bit more adventurous..after we got our goal, we knocked a few gears down..but still 2-1's better than the 1-0 we brought Real back to Italy with. I'm optimistic for the next leg as you all should be..
Few things I'd like to point out - Gerrard?! His instructions seemed to be to plough right through Neddy when he was about to open up for a shot..and only once out of the 3 occasions this happened was he penalised. Oh, and the disallowed goal; what a COOL finish by Del Piero, if only he would've done that with his 1-on-1..we all knew, as did Carson where he was planning to put that chance.
Ah well, I'm pleased..we just need to deliver at the Delle Alpi now - I see a Nedved back in full flight leading us to the semis. Forza.
