Del Piero crrewed up two good attacks by beaing too weak. The ball he got on the right side of the box was veyr good, but he's simply too weak to stay on his feet after even the slightest of touches.
yeah....he was too easy to fall down on that play !!!

in the first 30 mins we were a joke of a team!!!!!

we are lucky we didn't conced more and we have to praise fabio for the only goal he gave us-though ale's goal was NOT offside and zlatan could have easily scored at his first chance-because now we can still somehow hope to qualify....

but if we play like this even for 5 mins,in turin,we must forget the CL.

i am disappointed and i am very sad to admit it but now,i have even more doubts for qualification than i had for real.
we underestimated liverpool,it was OBVIOUS and i was afraid of that because this costed us the victory

No way should Del get a 4. At least he was dribbling, touching the ball, taking shots on goal, had the header which was a legit and great goal, taking free kicks, and trying to lead the team. Not to mention his few link ups with Nedved.

Thank god Montero didnt give up a fvcking PK tho.
Zebina seems out for at least a week or so.
Amen, damn that Ref:groan:, But no problem we'll be back in Delle Alpi:)

Thuram and pessotto are the only players i was happy with.

Del Piero by no means played bad,nor did Ibhra and after the first half nedved did alright.

I am very disappointed with Blasi and Zebina in paticular

Yes, that's the problem with DP. HE IS DRIBBLING, BUT HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT

I just came home from the neighbors' watchin the match, and I want to make one thing clear... SELL BLASI, that Romanista, he is not good enough to be in a leading serie a team, and not even good enough for Roma.. Camoranesi was ok, zlatan was good, and made good passes, DP connected with Nedved brilliantly, and was ok at times, and a legitimate goal disallowed.

Oh and the ref... **** him, **** his mother, **** his sister, and **** his gay brother too.. son of a *****.. it was clear he was against juve the whole time.. All 50-50 balls seemed 100 to Liverpool under his command, and he disallowed the goal... Finnan pulled Emerson to the ground and he just turns his head.. son of a *****, I hope you get a death call..
Okay man, clearly the referee should have made some calls, but you cannot blame him like that. How many times has Juventus won in that sort of fashion?

CL Wrap: Liverpool On The Volley But Juve Happy
4/5/2005 9:33:00 PM
After fitting pre-match respect was paid to the victims of the Heysel tragedy 20 years ago, Liverpool’s warm welcome to Juventus quickly became a hot reception with the game under way. Within 25 minutes the Reds were two-nil ahead after Sami Hyypia (10th minute) and Luis Garcia (25th) had produced top class volleys to pierce Juve’s hitherto near-impregnable defence.
Juve were struggling against the Red tide from the start, yet they underlined their threat immediately after the second goal when Zlatan Ibrahimovic produced an excellent snap shot that slammed against the foot of a post. Pavel Nedved could only screw the rebound wide. Then Alessandro Del Piero was thwarted by an excellent save from teenage goalkeeper Scott Carson while Le Tallec and Baros continued to pose the Juve defenders problems at the other end.

However, Juve gradually regained their composure and looked a lot more dangerous in the second half as they enjoyed more possession. Their improvement was capped with a potentially vital away goal in the 63rd minute. It came from an unlikely source - Fabio Cannavaro's head, which embarrassed the previously sound Carson. At 2-1 the first leg is delicately balanced, but Juve will be a great deal happier than they were after 25 minutes.

Meanwhile, in Lyon, where Dutch supporters showed scant respect for the memory of Heysel by indulging in a pre-match hooligan rampage of their own, Florent Malouda put Olympique Lyonnais ahead after 12 minutes against PSV Eindhoven. However Guus Hiddink's side threw themselves a lifeline into the semi-final by securing a 79th minute equaliser through Philip Cocu.

Luckily Montero only had 5 min on the pitch..................
It only takes a second with him these days.

I've just realised our poor results in England have continued, why do we always play sh*t there?

Can't handle the pace I reckon, Arsenal beat us 3-0, Newcastle ran riot over us at St James' - and they're only a mediocre premiership team!

It was really a bad game of us, escpecially the first half! unbelievable.
I was very dissapointed of Emerson and Zebina was crap, too..
In the second half I liked Zambro!
We have to give our best in the game next week. It is so important.
