there is a good irish contigent here btw!

but there are some really racist swine too. If you are caught talking english on the trams some people will keep starting threateningly at you, perhaps even make fun of you by mocking your english, or in worst cases physically harm you. I almost got beaten up cos me and my friend were talking english, but we convinced these two guys that we were german and they left.

The Irish are tolerant of other cultures.
So I assume it was just a once off case.
The Irish are not the greatest of forign lanaguage speakers so they always welcome English speaking people.

[But there is a lot of respect shown to other languages too]

I find Germans, Dutch and Swedish to be marvellous english speakers.
They talk better than the Irish, English, American at this

damn.

Well these are the time of people who take any excuse to fight. Like once when i was at the arcade, the same type of people wanted some money for a stupid game. i refused, and 3 minutes later he came back and punched my face in. I was also spat on by his friends. Its pathetic, cos the only thing you can do is walk away cos these people prey on younger people who are in smaller groups then them and they beef themselves up so they use their strength to get what they want. They are also like 17-18 anyway, so i wouldnt stand a chance if i was to stand up for myself.

Fabio Capello insists the Bianconeri gave everything they had to reach the Champions’ League semi-finals, but were outplayed by Liverpool.

“We must admit that Liverpool defended solidly and were unstoppable in the air. They deserved to qualify,” conceded the Coach after two poor displays sealed their exit.

Juventus needed to win 1-0 at the Delle Alpi after losing the first leg 2-1, but played with a low tempo and rarely tested goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek, only hitting the woodwork with Fabio Cannavaro’s late header.

“We gave everything we had and performed well enough, hoping to snatch a goal from somewhere, but unfortunately we were unable to score. Liverpool are a tough team to face. We knew that when they close up and go on the counter-attack they are at their best and we couldn’t find a way through this attentive defence. Sami Hyypia was particularly marvellous.”

Nobody knows that more than Capello, who was already eliminated twice by the Anfield outfit during his time at Roma. He had urged patience, a tactic that worked against Real Madrid in the last round, but the clock ticked away all too quickly.

“Liverpool play with one upfront and are constantly trying to crowd us out. We were able to create more chances at Anfield precisely because they were willing to attack, whereas now it wasn’t in their interests to do so.”

Aside from tactical considerations, it was a psychologically limp performance from the players who barely got out of first gear.

“I don’t feel it right to blame the lads, as it was a very balanced game and our opponents kept us on our toes with the threat of the counter-attack,” continued the Coach. “That’s why they’ve done very well away from home this season.”

The Italian Press has already turned on Capello’s side after a sluggish performance against an opponent they were expected to eliminate comfortably and the lack of alternatives in the squad was clear for all to see.

“David Trezeguet is a goal poacher who makes the difference in the area and would’ve been very valuable in this match, but he wasn’t available and we had to deal with that.”

Milan are now the only remaining Serie A representative in the Champions’ League and will face PSV Eindhoven after they won a penalty shoot-out with favourites Lyon. Liverpool go into an all-Premiership semi-final with Chelsea.

Good to see a manager gracious in defeat. After putting up with the arrogance of Alex Ferguson and Wenger for many years, and now the biggest ego of them all, Jose Mourinho, it's nice to see a manager with a bit of class. What a great manager Capello is.

Holy smokes, please give us some of your shite players we could certainly do with them !!!

We got lucky today with a very efficient performance - we spoiled the game for you tactically and rode our luck trying to hit on a counter.

We are hoping our manager can keep us competing at this level in years to come.

That Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be one of the most feared strikers in the world some day - what an excellent player. (Unlucky today though)

To go through was a big shock really so don't be too hard on your team and your coach as they are world class.

Thank you for the majority of your fans being great sports - see you next year (hopefully) ;)

Luck had nothing to do with it Carlos. We were the better team over the two legs and deservedly qualified. :)
But I agree with your kudos of Juve fans. They're a great bunch (with the exception of a certain minority, but they're largely irrelevent).

The Hope .The dream has gone.

How sad. we lost 2003 Final cuz we could not score. we are out now cuz also we could not score.. Geez we are suffering. we need to understand That championship wont come by this performance. come on adminstration That was not Juve.

where was The Bianconero and where is it now?
save The glory save the reputation of us !
we do have The money . for god sake bring super attackers, attackers who can score not show off attackers can be creatives.

we do have The money. but the problem we selling with big amount not buying with big amount.

bring super strikers like (sheva-henry-eto'o)

you just killed our happiness after defeating real madrid. the match that we could not sleep after for two nights after the whistle.

scuditto close to Milan , and i guess san siro match will be a scandal for us.

Those Teams knows how make things go right, for us good coach is not enough. we do have good defence but we still looking for a goal each 4 matches. we played 9 matches and scored 9 goals.what a fu**ed up avarage. a goal in each match in CL.

Roberto Bettega-Luciano Moggi bring back juve presonality and reputation Please otherwise the trust of you will Go down .

instead of buying players with all our money why dont we just buy the refs for all the big games, seeing as everyone is convinced we do anyways

that was horrible to watch. when i saw them celebrating after cannavaro's header at the post i was so happy ithought it was in :groan:

we should have just shot them dead!!!!!

DON'T WORRY THE ITALIANS ARE GONE GIVE SOME ASS WUPPING IN THE TURIN CITY RIGHT NOW:D LET'S KILL ANOTHER 39:devil:
Grow up moron.

Bad luck Juve, you didn't play to your potential and were beaten by a team with more heart...Carragher and Hyypia showed they're among Europe's best defenders (Carra in particular has been immense this season). Alonso made a big difference for us this evening as well, as I think, did the legend Rafa Benitez.

Anyway it's pleasing to have beaten a mighty team like Juventus...hopefully we can now give Chelsea some payback for our defeats to them this season (2 of which were somewhat undeserved) and get back to our glory days status. :cheesy:

Best of luck in Serie A Juventini.
