DON'T accuse Nedved.
I admit he was not at his best, but it is natural because fiorentina match was his 2nd match after 45 days stop.
I'm depressed that everybody blames him ....
Nedved is becoming weak from mental shock. He is struggling to take back his confidence.

He have saved us--Juventus many times...everyone have forgotten that...?
NOW, this is our turn to save him.
HE NEEDS US, HE NEEDS OUR SUPPORT.

I want to see the combination of Del Piero and Nedved.
I cannot choose 1 out of them because I WANT see their fantastic combination.

To tell ya the truth I fear of Luic Garcia as Zambrotta used to push a lot forward, then Garcia might used the free space left by Zambro, this is why I want to play Pessotto who might strengthen our left side...
In the middle Gerrard had to battle with Emerson to show his worth and this a lot better than playing 2 DM, cuz Blasi can do nothing but harsh tackling and wrong passes....
PESSOTTO IS A MUST!! We cannot face Liverpool without him.

I really think out best shot is this (3-4-3):

---------------------------Buffon----------------------------
------Thuram--------Cannavaro------Zambrotta-------
Camoranesi--------Emerson-----------Pessotto-------
--------------------Nedved----------------------------------
-----Zalayata---------------------Del Piero---------------
------------------Ibrahimovic-------------------------------

With Ibrahimovic and Del Piero back to scoring days, I think we should be alright upfront (taking advantage of chances). Emerson has to be at his best to stop Gerrard.. Don't worry about Pessotto, he can handle anyone ;) .

I think this formation allows space for Nedved to play (even if sub par) and also allows us to create chances.. Plus Close the midfield well.. But thats all under one condition.. Perfection from the deffenders.

In the second half of the first leg Capello made one important tactical switch: he decided to move Nedved into a central, more forward role. With Nedved playing behind the strikers it caused Liverpool problems because Gerrard had to track back and pick up Pavel in his more forward role. With Gerrard having to come back to defend Liverpool must concede their top half of the midfield, thus cutting back on their forward pressure and attack.

I think the second half of play in Liverpool should be the standard by Capello in the return leg. English sides are not used to attacks that have depth and mobile midfielders playing right behind the strikers, causing their defense to be stretched with the lateral runs of the attacking midfielder. That's why Nedved MUST be given a free role to attack, just like in the second half of play.

Buffon

Thuram - Montero - Cannavaro

Camoranesi - Emerson - Tacchinardi - Zambrotta

Nedved

Ibrahimovic - Del Piero

Don't be alarmed, I meant to play Montero. Since we imbecilicly gave away Tudor in January we lost a defender who is strong in the air, and the only defender who we have that is remotely strong in the air is Montero, unfortunately. He's stronger than Birindelli and Pessotto in this aspect, so I think we have to play him. :(

Emerson and David Trezeguet look set to recover in time to play Liverpool on Wednesday, while Adriano edges closer to a derby comeback.

Both Juve stars did not feature in yesterday’s thrilling 3-3 draw at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, but the move was by all accounts wholly precautionary.

Both Emerson and Trezeguet trained with the squad this morning and look certain to take part in Wednesday’s Champions’ League encounter with Liverpool after recovering from muscular and ankle problems respectively.

The Bianconeri need all the stars available to overturn a 2-1 first leg defeat, especially as Jonathan Zebina is definitely out with a thigh injury that’ll take a month to heal.

The other Italian involvement in that European competition next week is the Milan derby and Inter must win by three clear goals to recover from a 2-0 first leg loss. Although both legs are played at the San Siro, Tuesday’s counts as a Nerazzurri ‘home’ game, so any goals Milan score will be classed as ‘away’.

There is promising news from the Appiano Gentile training ground, as Adriano is taking part in full training and looks increasingly likely to play in the decider.

Marco Materazzi is also ready to feature after recovering from a knock suffered in yesterday’s 1-0 win at Bologna, during which he was stretchered off the field.

“It is our duty to believe we can qualify,” stated Inter patron Massimo Moratti. “I am convinced that Adriano will be ready for the match and this team has the potential to achieve the result we need.”

thats damn right. buuuuuuuuuuuuuut i wouldnt play 3 at the back. we are DEFINITELY going to concede if we play like that for 90 mins! at fiorentina we played like that for the second half and conceded.

    we should play a 4-3-1-2

    buffon

    birindelli - thuram - cannavaro - zambrotta

    camoranesi - emerson - blasi

    nedved

    zlatan - zalayeta [del piero]

we definitely need TWO defensive midfielders if nedved is to be given the free role. we just need to ACTUALLY GET THE BALL to give to him, zlatan and camo. plus emerson is too slow to go alone.

Damn i would love it if you guys played 3 at the back!

ZAF3000 No disrespect but that team would get torn apart, even by small-timers like LFC.

When Nedved cam central in the 2nd half, you are right that Gerrard had to track back, but on wednesday, Gerrard will play the free role and he will be even more effective.

I'm also hoping Xabi will start.

VENDETTA OF DEATH Apr 10 2005

    DEATH SHROUDS TURIN

JUVENTUS' notorious "Ultras" have vowed to carry out revenge attacks on Liverpool supporters for the Heysel disaster.

Eugenio Copelli, of Juventus Club Londra, said: "On a Liverpool website 300 fans have said they're going to Turin to get their own back after the Ultras turned their backs and gave them the finger at Anfield.

"The probability is that people will die in the return match on Wednesday. That is my fear. All hell will break loose.

"The Ultras told me at Anfield that they'd give them hell in Turin and, although I hope and pray nothing happens, it looks inevitable."

Turin police will chaperone Liverpool fans and keep the rival supporters apart.

Spokeswoman Dottoressa Tartuni said: "We know what happened 20 years ago so we are not treating this match as normal.

"Officers will be out in force and on a high state of alert. We will assign officers to keep watch over the English fans from the moment they arrive in Turin, probably from the morning before the match. We will do everything in our power to ensure that the two sets of fans do not mix. Alcohol will not be on sale on Wednesday."

But Juventus hooligans have posted messages on the internet threatening to "break the bones of the red animals". One read: "I want to see them covered in their own blood."

Liverpool Supporters' Club stewardess Nicola Bateman said: "I think there will be murder, God forgive me. You can tell some of the Juventus fans are looking for trouble."

yo yo yo, there's no happy birthday everytime, you won at anfield, it wont be the same in Delle Alpi, your talkin as if Liverpool played better in the 1st leg, we faced many dangerous teams and 100 times better then Liverpool and we showed that we can pass anyone, so try not to be too CONFIDENT...It doesn't suit your team.

I see Nedved being the hero on Wednesday I really do. This is the match where he proves his critics wrong. The Liverpool GK is weak whoever it will be - I see a long-ranger being scored by the blonde.
