I would agree with those except Zambrtta's and Nedved's.I think you over-rated there

Perhaps, but I dont think so. Zambrotta was one of the better players on the pitch, playing all over the right side, both in attack and defence, sprinted to close down players, etc.

Nedved brought dynamic to our attack, and had an assist (altho not really intentional for Trezeguet. If Trez hadnt scopred that would have surely been a penalty.

I think I'm one of the rare Thuram admireres left on the forum, a lot of people think he's too slow or past it.

But sometimes you can just enjoy how he uses his experience and football intelligence to stop the opposition, and the calmness he posesses... almost like art.

He was the best player to handle Bayern's freekicks. He cleared the air balls in a great way tonight. I am still one of Thuram's admirers.

Zambrotta and Chiellini were the best players in the first half. Zambrotta, Emerson and Nedved were the best in the second half. Nedved was great, I hope he always plays the free role like he did tonight.

OK, I know your point about Zlatan, but why Vieira? He played a solid game, not one of his best this seaosn, but he had a great assist.


And IMO Trez should be MoM, 2 goals from 4 chances, 2 of which were very dificult, the first long shot, and the second goal.

Vieira did lots of mistakes in the first half but he was sharp in the second and as you said he made a great assist, it was class.

It seems Kovač didnt really like his teammates at Bayern, he was especially rough today IMO.

Abbiati- better than Chimenti i'll give him than ..but also my grandma is better than Chimenti so 4.5 the goal was his fault

Kovac- i like him he's great didn't help the attack much bt he was good at deffnding played good in a role that is strange to him i'll give him a 6.3 if i may

Thuram- not brilliant but good 6

Canna- Best CB on the planet every thing he does is just a masterpiece in defending 7

Chiellini- best game for him this season was very active i'll give him a 7 also

Emerson- emm was good enough i'll give him a 6.5

Vieira- not the same after the injury but a nice assist 6.5

Zambrotta- God bless his heart an 8

Alex- he shouldnt play there for ffs and i won't start even talking on how much Capello is being unfair towords him 5

Zlatan- was ok had a good pass to Nedved that lead to the goal.. but again he shouldn't start he shouldn't play all these minutes he dserved the red card and that is the only thing that can take Zlatan off the pitch in Capello era 5.5

Trezeguet- one of the best finishers in the world amazing second goal great season he is having 8

Nedved- he changed the game .. he should've started from the get go behind Trez and Del Piero a 6.5

Mutu- Didnt do much no rating another player that Capello being unfair to

Camo- emmm...
