@Linebreak @Salvo @ZoSo @Nenna @gray @Cirillo @Mr Chocolate

Game is on SBS tomorrow morning. 6:45AM.
Yes! I checked the website earlier today but it still said TBA.

Love it, we probably only get 1-2 of these a season.

btw I really hope with the Al Jazeera/beIN Sports deal we can get Serie A on TV next season. I don't like the thought of giving Foxtel my money, but hey, everyone has a price

Is it just me or when games are shown on SBS we don't win

:scared:
LOL one of the few wins I can remember in the CL (when screened on SBS) was the 3-0 V Chelsea from a couple of years ago. Oh and the Supercoppa against Lazio last year was a win.

The rest usually end in draws or losses.

Anyway my prediction is the stock-standard 1-1 draw this team specialises in.

More like don't deserve to be in Europe at all tbh.

It's time to pull our finger out and play some real football, but the chances of that happening remain low.
-Boring, slow and ponderous build up play

-Lack of pressing, and allowing the opposition to keep hold of the ball for as long as they want it

-Our CBs being the primary playmakers as most teams these days just mark all of our midfielders

- Our WBs not being able to beat their man, or put in a cross. They'll just receive the ball and play it sideways or backwards.

-Lack of urgency and drive for the first 60 mins (when we realise we are running out of time and need to turn it around)

-Players static and not making necessary runs/movements to stretch Olympiakos defence

-Horrible finishing when we do actually have chances to score

I expect most if not all of these tomorrow :D

This has really been one of the most frustrating aspects of our play of late.

How does a team expect to create chances, regardless of what tempo they're playing at, if they're so incredibly static? It's extremely loathsome.

It's a far cry from the stuff we used to play in the 11/12 and first half of the 12/13 season. Our players used to have great off the ball movement, and those late runs in the box form our midfielders...that sort of play has vanished over the past couple of years.

The 11/12 season seams like a dream now. Yes we had a lot of draws, but our incisive passing and movement off the ball was just jaw-dropping at times.

Don't know why we ever moved away from that.
