I have to say, I quite like these Spurs visitors. Respectfully make their points and arguments in their favor even with all the emotion flying around here :p

You guys are alright in my book

Do you think if we had not sold our key players every year build a squad we could have won ucl
Higuaín
Dybala - Tevez
Marchisio/Matuidi - Pjanic - Vidal
Alex Sandro - Chiellini - Bonucci - who even cares
Buffon

And just think of the bench options. I'm sure I forgot people too.

I'm not optimistic about the return game, but a few things to take in to considiration:

* We couldn't combat Spurs physicality in midfield. A 3-man midfield is a must for the return with Matuidi.
* They really outpressed us all over the field. They often press high up and we need speed on the flanks to exploit that: Douglas Costa - Dybala
* The Alex Sandro - Mandzukic partnership isn't working anymore. Alex Sandro doesn't have the attacking output to make that work anymore.

Buffon
Lichtsteiner - Benatia - Chiellini - Alex Sandro
Khedira - Pjanic - Matuidi
Dybala - Higuain - Douglas Costa

If Dybala, Matuidi, and Cuadrado are back for this game, Allegri might need to gamble with a 4-2-3-1 since this formation produces a lot of goals for and against. Cuadrado and Matuidi alone will improve Juve's physicality and speed. Dybala is very important obviously in terms of Juve's build up play.

The CL is won by scoring goals and Juve likely won't progress without at least 2. Luckily, this Juve is very prolific when healthy.
