You having to go for a goal will definatly benefit us. Don't know the last time we didn't score at home.
We will try to counter for 75 minutes. If it's still 0-0 by then we will open up and go for goal. This is not a stupid english or german team that will open it up from the 1st minute and lose 7-0 or some shit.

We can definitely win the game in Munchen if we solve a couple of tactical issues. The pitch was way to big with our strikers pressing on several occasions and our midfielders sitting too deep. Bayern could easily build up with a midfielder dropping in that space, which was often 20 to 30 meters. If only we showed them less respect in the first half, we could have actually won this game. The team was mentally broke until the goal from Dybala, where it realized it can actually play football.. I expected the team to build confidence from last season's campaign but it proved that this side is different as day and night from a psychological and mental aspect from last season's. I hope this game does wonders, and we decide to show up from the first minute on.

Thankfully we did. Now we need to do the same over there. The holes in this team are clear, the onus is now on thr management.
Alex Sandro would have made a huge difference tonight. As would a fit Khedira and Mandzukic (he paced himself really strangely).

The only player I'm a bit worried about long term is Lichtsteiner, he looks like he is declining.

That's exactly the type of mentality that lead to the first 60 minutes. Teams don't become great overnight. If you limit yourself, you get the $#@! show you got today.
I didn't watch the first half, can't tell.

Actually I started watching just before Dybala scored.

But you can clearly see the difference between the teams, if you deny that you are being delusional.

This doesn't mean we can't go through, but it means it's unlikely we'll win at their stadium and if it happens, we will have to count a lot on luck and overcoming our own limits. Actually that's what they did in the 2nd half.

The team is exhausted IMO. We need key midfielders Marchisio and Pogba healthy, + Alex Sandro playing. This is key to Juve and without that it really is hard to compete with Bayern or Barcelona.

Let's hope you sit back like you did today. You'll get absolutly murdered in the Allianz Arena.

Atkinson has Allways been terible! Favouring Bayern, then we were Down 2-0 he started favouring us!

If we loose our respect we have chances! They seriously do not have that good players! Its the system that makes Them good! If every player had the same approach as hernanes we could easily have won!

We need a win, maybe we should go 433 in the second game, with morata, mandzu and zaza up front and have them pressuring the batern backline and midfield high up all game. Get dybala in there in the last 20 minutes to exploit tired legs.

Bayern has the advantage, indeed, but the important thing here is that our players have now been able to go into the dressing room with their heads held high after experiencing that we can be on par with them if we bring our A-game. Which, unfortunately for us, happened way too late for our own good in this match, but once it happened we were great.

Our players can now be confident we can at least go to the Allianz and frustrate them and that we have a slight hope of going through. After having gone down 0-2 with everything seeming to be dead, I'll definitely take that.

Proud of our comeback here tonight.
I don't deny Bayern are favourites, as they were before the game started, but with a Juve comeback I'd say, Juve have lengthened those odds even if only a wee bit. Now we go to Germany, and it's a one off game. We go in with more belief, and you can never say, how that turns out. If they score first, you could say they're back in the drivers seat, but if we do, pressure is a funny thing. Remember you can also score against the run of play.

And then we dominated them the last 30 minutes. Ie. Upped our performance. Seized momentum in the tie... We have the momentum going into the second match. Will we keep it? Who knows... But writing us off is just stupid.

A much worse result for us would have been going up 2-0 and allowing Bayern to come back and tie it 2-2... Going down 2-2 and showing the kind of response we did is absolutely huge in every regard for our players mentality and belief.
Remember when we managed to suddenly win 2-1 against madrid, and how much we believed in ourselves even if madrid went 1-0 at home ? How we went 1-1 and madrid was in shambles and we qualified ?

That result at home, that late goal, boosted moral to ridiculous levels.

I don't really think we can go through, but please no shitty football.

3-5-2 with Sandro and at least go out with style.

Never once said that. Said we got screwed by the handball non-call. It was a terrible call. Not the only reason we didn't win, obviously.

You're on ignore.
We were not screwed by the ref you miserable dolt. We were done over by ourselves.

Good, fuck off.

Definitely. But we cannot rely on Khedira, next year I mean, we need a Licht replacement for sure.
