Focus on denying opposition space, even if that means going very deep and not having much of the ball, and being very careful when in possession so as to limit counter-attacking chances.

"We had a lot of possession against Atlético [in the quarters] but like us, Juve are a side who like a lot of possession.. We want to attack and we're preparing to play an attacking game, but we're going to have to defend really well too."

Looks like he is setting up the team to press, limit pirlo's time on the ball and play a high defensive line.
