When Morata scofed i jumped off the sofa to go running aroundmy livong room and i slipped and busted my knee it was awesome. I would be extremely confident of progressing had we scored a 3rd but right now i would be fool for not being happy with the result and especially the performance.

They left plenty of space at the back today. They have no choice but to attack. They know if we don't that we have no problem sitting back and soaking up the occasional buildup.

We know Morata's pace is absolutely a problem for their back line. Carlo knows they gotta score so I expect Madrid to come out guns blazing and we should do the same. Get a quick goal then dominate possession and run little risks.

That was a pretty solid performance, but that Ronaldo goal should not have happened. That was a damn shame and someone should have been on him. It will be extremely tough in Madrid and we will absolutely need an away goal. Surely we will play 3-5-2 and I hope that doesn't backfire.

I agree it was a shame at first, but what should they've done (a part from sitting back)? A high tackle and the ball deflected to their player deep in our left side. They made two brilliant passes and we got outplayed.
Their header on the crossbar was brilliant too, cause Kroos made a brilliant hard one touch, and ripped our right side.

Ronaldo shouldn't have been left unmarked. It was a brilliant lofted pass but the marking was extremely poor. They have to expect that.

In the last line, I meant left side :)

It's always easy to look back at, but I pretty much agree and Allegri should evaluate these situations with the players. It could cost us (alongside the missed chances) and must not happen in Madrid. But I still think we didn't pressure the players with ball enough, when they were near our goal area and that was the problem.
