Pirlo's corners and set piece deliveries were actually very good today. We had three chances. Pogba had a free header with a wide open net but mistimed his jump a little and headed over. Morata also headed over on a corner as he couldn't leap quite high enough.

Pirlo wasn't great today, but his set piece deliveries were very good.

The fact that this is the fourth final lost in the last 20 years makes me sick. I have watched all finals but this final is hard to digest because I don't remember and I son't think there is something more disgusting than Neymar, Busquests, Alves, Jordi Alba, Suarez and others. It also hurts because Barca looked like they were ready to collapse after the draw.

You can laugh all you want, but they are not superior they are not better, this Juve with little bit of luck just little would destroy them pretty bad, the score doesn't reflect much of what happened. I could be biased but the only thing they had over this Juve is confidence in first half which cost the team.

They had four times situation 5 vs 3 and only scored once and that was in the 95th min.

My commentators said the same thing about that Neymar goal.

They seriously failed to notice that if his hand doesn't hit the ball, his header was going wide. Even after being redirected by his hand it barely went into the net.

people need to be realistic. this is going to be the only chance to win CL for some time. individually speaking the team was much better last season, only this season allegri made them a tactically modern team europe with balls.

the rebirth will take many years to replace players like pirlo, barzagli, licht, buffon, evra, tevez, etc.. imagine how well this team would have done with pirlo and barzagli in 2012 form this year.

We don't have to replace Pirlo, Barza. They've already been replaced. We made CL final without Barza playing all year. He's not even a starter anymore. And Marchisio in the Pirlo role means he's already replaced for next year. A role Marchisio is very good in, as evidenced by how well we played when Pirlo was out.

Licht isn't going anywhere. He played the last couple months with an ankle injury needing surgery. Asamoah is already in the squad as Evra replacement. The only reason Evra was a full-time starter was because Asa was injured. Buffon isn't going anywhere for 2-3 years. So we need to replace Tevez after next year. That's it.

can't help but think if we got that free kick on the edge of the area in the first half Pirlo might have scored. Again i don't understand the hate towards Pirlo tbh i find it hugely disrespectful especially when you think about the number of times he has saved us, Pirlo was by no means the worst player in black and white tonight, as a matter of fact I don't even think anyone disgraced themselves at least not to the same degree as those fucking divers

This. Our players all left their hearts on that pitch, and none of them played poorly. Some didn't have their best games of the season, but that's too be expected against one of the best teams in the world. Tevez left his shooting boots at home, but was superb in the general build-up play. Pirlo gave away a few balls, but nothing too bad, and his set-piece and corner delivery gave us many good chances.

I honestly can't think of a single player on our team who performed poorly. Not many amazing performances, but everyone was pretty much solid. It's too bad, we just needed a couple more of them to give amazing performances and this match was ours.

Their second goal killed us, it was at a stage in the game where we were starting to dominate and get on top, I'm not going to fault any of the players tonight, it was a great effort from the boys, if only we had a little bit more luck. I don't understand the Pirlo hate though, I thought he played good, and as Badass said, he wasent the worst player on the pitch for us, he opened up the game few times, one instance I remember was a long pass to Pogba or Morata, who was through but they miss-controlled. Llorente was good when he came on too.

If they didn't score that second goal when they did, there is no doubt in my mind that we would be champions
